Exactly the link that I needed especially in my little work area I needed something instead of cable going across the floor I could just run it in the corner of the walls of the ceiling and have it dropped down through a little service column and punch it right into my computer. Exactly what I needed to do. Excellent so far so good.

Ran it from the second floor where I have my DVR for my security cameras to my bedroom on the first floor works great no lag etc. Happy with the price too.

Quality: Good quality. The cable, insulation, and connectors are all very good quality and all plugs I've stuck into have plugged in snug. Installation: Very easy installation. No learning curve, no need to configure, just plug and profit! Fit: The cable fits perfectly with any USB-A 3.0 (blue) connector. Function: The cable works and definitely improves the signal for example plugging my Mediasonic ProRaid box to a computer at a greater distance yields decent speeds compared to not having this cable. The cable definitely does an active repeat somewhere and it's evident something is happening besides a fancy cable name that's just a straight cable. Haven't had any dropoffs in connection as I've begun using this full time and will have more info over time in which I will update. Weight: Weights almost nothing. Value: Excellent value! If the cable works for you like it does for me, it's totally worth it. There's really no other solution to running usb cables any further without some sort of "assistance". Highly recommend it just be aware it isn't a perfect repeat but does work!

Excellent cable. Used for my PS5 and steering wheel rig. Works great even just drawing power from the USB port. I got the 30ft. Well built and it’s lasted several months at this point in a relatively high traffic area.

This cable stopped working after one month.

we're using it with a conference room microphone that is very distant from the computer and very pleased with the results.

We have a rather large home office. And in the office are several work areas. One of which is for our industrial vinyl cutter. And we needed to move the computer that it is plugged into (you have to have the required software on a single system and not a server ect...) had to be relocated to almost 20 feet away. I tried another extension USB cable and I kept having trouble with connectivity. This thing worked GREAT!!!! No signal loss at all. No sputtering, not messed up cuts. I love this thing. It is well made and of high quality materials. It looks nice. And I like that if need be, it can go further than the 20ish feet we need. It is pricier than other extension USB cables, but we tried a few of those, and we spent more in vinyl because of issues, than they were worth. I highly recommend this USB extension cable. I think gamers would also see a HUGE bonus using this.

I use this calbe to extend a 4k camera across to the other side of my desk. It works great! I tried several other cables but none of them could handle the 4k stream except this one, all the others got maxed out at 1080p. This cable seems able to handle a higher bandwidth of data than other similar USB extension cables. I can even run the light on the webcam without issue. The ends are well made and the whole cable is thicker and stronger than the other 3 that I ordered. Should work great for anything with a USB port. 5/5 stars, exactly as advertised, worked great for me.

This is one super high quality cable at a really good price. I am not sure if it is really 'active' (as at only 1.5m it hardly needs to be) but it is definitely high grade so perfect for high speed/critical solutions. Thick smooth abrasion resistant sheaving, well moulded ends, and all round high quality. if you need a 1.5m USB3 extension then grab this - you will not regret it.

I didn’t think a 1.5m cable needed to be active, but a requirement for stability and consistency might call for one. I’ve been using this as a simple USB 3.0 extension, and it’s been spot‑on. My PC’s rear ports are awkward to reach, so having a short extender like this saves me constantly wrestling with the back of the case. It blends into the setup rather than standing out. It’s just a handy little extender that does what it’s supposed to do. If you’ve got ports in an awkward spot or you want to stop wearing out the ones on your PC, this is an easy fix that keeps full USB 3 performance.

One of the major issues of cables like this is that the power delivery and/or data delivery consistency drops dramatically. This extension, however, maintains a 5gbs transfer rate, making it an ideal addition to a more complex networking solution. The only negative, bizarrely, is that its great on every device except a Pixel 10 Pro XL - which seems to charge at slow speeds using it.
