Is this a battle ready, traditional, authentic sword. Is there a way i can see a close up of the blade and scabard?

Hi, it's a battle ready, authentic sword. The scabbard is black painted, and the blade is made of carbon steel, folded 12 times by hand. Thank you.

Can you post pictures of it being full tang?

Not without unwrapping it and hilt rebuild.

How many folds is the steel?

Folded 12 times which gives you over 4000 layers. I wouldn't go sword fighting with it or chopping wood But it will cut tatami mats and fruits like watermelon and so on if you Know what your doing

has the blade been differentially hardened?

The blade has been water quenched, and the hardness of the blade edge is higher than the ridge. Thanks.
