This stand is poorly made. It wobbled and side arms were uneven. I liked that there was a separation to hold a notebook or an ipad in addition but overall this is not a quality product that I would recommend. They really need to look up dimensions on most hard drives and make a quality stand that fits.

As I work for multiple clients, I have multiple company specific laptops that take up a lot of space on my desk. I am constantly looking for a solution to keep them organized and not stacked on top of each other to prevent overheating. This mount is made of a nice thick powder coated metal that helps dissipate heat and is lower profile than most 2 laptop stand mounts. I recognize this mount is made to stand vertically, but it is not super stable when vertical, unless it is mounted using the included hardware, or placed against a wall. As such, I choose to use it horizontally to take advantage of the low profile. However, in this configuration, the spaced between the openings are too large the laptops fall out. I solved this by using some furniture pads to close the gap to my laptop width and add some extra cushion to prevent scratching. Overall, this stand is very easy to use, but is more functional for tablets, keyboards, phones and smaller devices than laptops. It does work with laptops with slight modification and is the best solution I have found to date.

As a recovering hoarder, I love things that can keep my staff (minimal) in place so my counters (and my mind) are clean. This shelf can be attached to the wall - and maybe I will in the future - but for now it sits on the counter and hold my magazines and devices in the kitchen. I love the thick metal and knowing that this thing can hold a lot of weight. It comes with the screws and a cute little screwdriver.
