I bought the 7' 3/8" net. It is described as "25 gram lead weights @ 1.0 lb/ft". It even shows lead in the picture. The net I received has black coated steel weights (a magnet sticks to them), not lead. I weighed it and the weights are only 5 lb for the 7' net. It should be 7 lbs. This is blatant false advertising. The steel weighted nets are much cheaper. This is not a good deal as is.

I thought I had bought a good net; it threw pretty well. But, on my third outing I hung it on not too big an obstacle and it tore from top to bottom. I've had other cast nets for years and they took a lot of abuse. The mono on this net is too thin. What a waste of money!

this net is too hard to toss....i did not realize this a man might beable to but im 5'1" short stout.....but tip me over i dont pour out i Tip over hehehe
