Super fast, super fun!
This scooter is AMAZING! My kids use it and so do my husband and I. We have gone MILES. It's a nice smooth ride, feels quite steady and secure. Battery life is pretty great. It has awesome power, hauls ass to be exact. Super easy to use at any age- well. almost any age. Pricy but high quality!

G2 is a game changer
This is my first E-Scooter purchase. I was in the market to buy one for a while but setbacks kept me from making the purchase. I researched tirelessly until I realized it's best for me to try and ride one for reference. So I saw Unagi has a rental service and I rented a Model One. It had dual motors for hills which I thought was necessary for hill climbing on my commute. While the scooter was decent it lacked suspension and the solid and tiny all rubber tires just made me come home with achy knees, ankles, and neck. The stem wobbled and just felt like it would eventually break. So I thought I needed a dual motor full suspension scooter which tended to be the high-speed ones that cost over $1200. I went to test drive a bunch that went over 30 MPH. They were all heavy and I knew I couldn't have something over 60 lbs and they were just too much power for me with jerky throttles. Then the G2 came out and I watched reviews and saw that this was considered a huge upgrade from the very popular G30 Max that I saw everywhere because of the suspension. So I took the plunge and ordered the G2. I absolutely love this thing. Tubeless 10" air-filled tires, check. Hydraulic suspension in the front which tends to be found on scooters way more expensive WITH dual spring adjustable suspension in the rear, check. Solid build quality with a manageable yet enjoyable commuter-friendly top-speed, check. Solid wobble-free stem at top speed, check. It has great torque and acceleration and on every hill, I've tried it on on your usual NYC streets, it handles with ease going faster than even the dual-motor Unagi at an average speed of 17 MPH. The brakes are good but I'd recommend setting the regen electrical breaks to medium to assist. I've had no high-temperature failures like some have mentioned nor any of the other programming bugs others have also mentioned. I believe the Universe made sure that I didn't purchase a scooter I'd regret buying and made sure I waited for this perfect scooter to come along. The ONLY issue is the weight since I have 6 flights of steps with my top floor apartment but the trade-off with the suspension is worth it. I have no pain in my body after riding this scooter around for even long rides. It just glides over everything. It is the absolute best way to get around NYC and I find myself not wanting to drive at all. It has transformed my Summer as I can easily explore my neighborhood and others close by with ease and comfort. The G30 Max is a legend but they say once you've had a scooter with suspension there's no going back and I can tell you for sure that is very true. Spend a bit more money (if you can) and get the G2 over the G30. Your joints will thank you, believe me. If you are over 200 lbs I'd recommend waiting until Segway fixes the issue with overheating since it seems like this happens with heavy riders since its max weight limit is 265 lbs. This is all the scooter you need for daily urban commuting with all the potholes, road cracks, uneven pavement, and hills like in NYC.

I felt like I was driving an all-terrain SUV!!😎
Best quality ever!! ❤️I don't even know how to ride a bike and this is my first scooter!!!! TIP: to steer it, it’s NOT with the handlebars, it’s with your eyes; you look at the line on the road or a fixed point and that’s where you’ll go!! I hope this tip helps someone, it’s very important. Oh!! To start, push the scooter back a little and then forward to go!! That way you reduce the failed attempts in the middle of the street, so embarrassing hahaha🤣 Today I went to work on my new Segway G2 scooter!!! When I arrived I asked the manager to take a photo of me with it, I'm so happy!!!!❤️The brakes are so SAFE , u can stop on the stop safely !!!!the battery life it's like FOREVER!!!❤️❤️Range it's perfect too!!!omg, it feels incredible!! It's so safe and easy that it arrived on Thursday and by Friday I was already on it at 16km/h in a park and did 5 miles!!! And today Sunday, May 10th, I went to and from work on the scooter!!! omg, there is a main avenue with an intersection that has horrible potholes and the scooter is the Boss, it’s the master!!! omg, I felt like I was driving an all-terrain SUV!! It literally flew in the air and ate it for breakfast haha the pothole said: howdy! and the scooter said: huh?? the pothole stayed silent and the Segway G2 scooter said: yeah that's what i thought!!!!!

I'm disappointed
Update: I took it down to one star because even riding at at 10-12 MPH I'm lucky to get 15 miles before the battery is done. So that's only about 7.5 miles each way. Segway says 25 miles even if you're cranking it at max 22MPH. I think I overpaid by a lot for something that can't even hit 20 miles at slow speeds. The biggest problem I'm having with this scooter is that the power curve is so jerky. Trying to hold it at one speed so that the cruise control will activate is very hard, at least in part because the power seems to either be fully on or fully off. Once the cruise activates it's fine, but it takes a long time to get there. It's also just not a great experience to have the scooter jerking forward when you're holding the accelerator steady. I'm also still not finding the scooter as stable as others I've ridden. The scooter is lifted up off the ground, and the handlebars are wider than most which, for me, contributes to it feeling somewhat unstable during anything other than cruising in a straight line. I may get used to it but right now it feels a little bit like a design problem. I've done some reading, and the jerkiness is a common complaint with Segway Ninebots. Can it be fixed someday with firmware? It seems like it should be possible, but they haven't done so yet. Find My was a little finicky at first but seems stable now and reports its location which is nice should the scooter every be stolen. On the upside it was easy to assemble, just a few screws, and the build quality at least at a surface level looks good. Be aware that the screws can come loose, 5 of the 6 screws loosened up on me to the point that the handlebar was rattling. The included allen wrench is OK but is cheap metal that doesn't let you torque the screws down hard. The suspension definitely is an upgrade from my last scooter that had no suspension (and solid tires). I do like the fact that eco mode can get you 40 miles out of the battery, but you do have to be going 10 MPH on level ground to get that much distance. In sport + (must be activated in the app) the scooter can hit 22 MPH which feels very fast and chews up the battery much faster. Overall I actually like the scooter, but they really need to fix the jerkiness issue when not cruising. It ruins the experience. Also, a better allen wrench is pretty important given you don't want those screws loosening up on you.

My honest review after 1,700 miles
I love this scooter. Great value for your money. Good range, reliable but repairing/ servicing the scooter will be annoying Pros: -fast acceleration - I weight 240 and i can still get over 20 miles out of it on a single charge. - Durability: The self healing tires work great. I had a nail go through the tire and after pulling the nail out, the hole was filled in by the goo inside the tire and it held its psi like normal - the tires will hold up for thousands of miles. -the suspension makes riding comfortable - headlight is bright enough to ride with, but you’ll definitely want a brighter one Cons: - service/ repairs will be a PAIN (keep the box it comes in) - after about 1,000 miles the internal charger failed. This is a common issue, but the scooter is covered by a 2 year warranty and they sent me a replacement which was not too difficult to install - replacing the tire is IMPOSSIBLE. If you ever need to change the rear tire try to find a shop who can do it for you. You will spend several days attempting to replace the tire yourself.

LOVE it
Have owned for about a month now. I use this as my primary mode of transportation, and this is the fourth and most expensive scooter I've owned. I didn't realize how much a suspension matters and how much I've avoided longer distances. I had such a fun and breezy 25m ride from West Hollywood to Hollywood yesterday. Pros: - Smoothest ride of all the scooters I've ridden. - Comfortable on bumpy roads and longer commutes. - Sport mode is fun if you're agile on a scooter. Acceleration is quick. - Nice and speedy! Cons: - On the heavy side if you need to carry it ever. I strength-train 4x a week, so it's manageable to get down a little bit of stairs into my building, but I do have to brace my body hard to avoid tweaking my back. - The stem is TALL, so the handlebars sit notably higher than a city rental scooter (like Bird or Lime). It was an adjustment to steer with my arms higher (I'm 5'9"). If you're shorter than I am, I could see this being uncomfortable. Overall turning out to be my favorite scooter that I've owned, and a much less expensive alternative to owning a car in a major city if your commutes are mainly short/medium distances. Love being able to zip through traffic and avoid having to find parking anywhere.

So much fun, if you’re thinking about it - get it!
This thing is totally worth it! It’s so much fun to ride around. The larger size, suspension and build quality make it quite comfortable, even on brick roads. Must have the extended range that this one does, and it’s still not enough. 22 is fast, but I wish it could go faster and last longer. It does have some weight to it, would not recommend to carry it. Have to keep it in sport mode for top speed, but it doesn’t go nearly 40+ miles on a charge when you’re having fun. The performance decreases as the battery drains.

Non Scooter user
I went from ebike to this scooter, primarily because of theft, and I'm old and don't like walking much anymore, and this thing just shows me how slow walking actually is. Scooters, by virtue of their size, are really an accessory for your day. It fits under and between everything. Takes me home as fast or faster than public transport, which is acres faster than driving in this city. Short trips from door to door. Longer trips are pure joy, if you stick to bike lanes for most of your trip, just driving this thing is very fun. Its max 22mph which is more than enough to pass cyclists and is faster than running. Dual suspension is very nice, dial it in as per your weight and what terrain your travel on most. Indicators (turn sig) are fab, fairly viewable by drivers behind you, very viewable by drivers in front. Piercing horn, that seems like a joke but actually gets attention within about a 30ft front direction. Tires are, well tires, ive not had to pump since I got it 660 miles ago. Lightly jump up and pull the bars with you to get over small 2" curbs, the suspension helps. Easy to read, Easy to understand, Easy to update, (Segway offer lots of little cool updates and upgrades). Its a bit heavy as a thing in your day, but not a big deal on one or two flights of stairs (if your under 50, double that). Headlight is bright enough for 22mph at night to see about 30ft in front. Rear light is bright easily viewable by drivers , and a choice on how it functions (like a car or a bicycle). Apple FindMy built in! Amazing!! There are other scooters out there for less, that do more, but this is my entry point, and I wanted something I didn't have to think much about.

Solid commuter scooter for adults in the rain
I'm no expert on electric kick scooters, but the build quality is great and the thing looks beautiful. It does great on wet pavement, including with leaves and other slippery stuff on the ground. I've done testing with traction control and without. I'd say the torque difference isn't significantly different. Your top speed is slightly lower, but it still struggles with a steep enough incline, so if you're going up very hilly terrain, or on unpaved surfaces, this might not be a good option for you. Suspension is decent for a slick-looking, integrated solution that seems like it'll handle the elements well, but it's definitely not beefy. I've taken it through washed out dirt/sandy trails and sports pitches, and it has been a fairly smooth ride, including for my son riding on the same scooter with me, but I doubt it could handle anything truly challenging on trails, and probably would kick me off with any sizable tree roots.

Scooter is amazing if not stolen
Yayayaya scooter is amazing, but you better be home whenever it’s delivered because if you’re not, anybody who’s driving by will be able to see what it is because it’s not wrapped up and thus fully exposing what it is and a huge “come get me” for porch Pirates.

Compra inteligente.

Worth ever dollar
The Ninebot Max G2 is a solid upgrade. The build quality is excellent, the design is modern, and it rides really well. The front and rear suspension make a big difference, much smoother than older versions. It’s fast too; I’ve hit over 36 km/h going downhill, though for city rides, you won’t need that much speed. Compared to the older Ninebots at my office, the G2 stands out in every way. If you want a reliable, comfortable, and feature-packed scooter under $1500 CAD, I highly recommend it.
