CLIPTONIC is built for people who want more than basic blue light glasses. The clear lenses help block 80% of harmful blue light while keeping your view bright and natural—without the heavy yellow tint found in many computer glasses. Designed for long screen sessions, work, study, video calls, and daily wear, they help ease screen-related eye strain, tired-eye discomfort, and harsh visual glare while maintaining a clean, nearly clear look. When you step outside, attach the magnetic polarized UV400 clip-on lens for real outdoor protection. It helps cut glare, block UV rays, and makes driving, commuting, and bright sunlight easier on your eyes. One clear frame. One polarized clip. Premium blue light protection indoors. Real sun protection outdoors. Review: Lightweight glasses with a practical magnetic clip-on design - These CLIPTONIC glasses are a pretty clever all-in-one setup. The magnetic sunglasses attachment snaps on easily and stays aligned well without feeling bulky or awkward. The frames themselves are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear. The size/shape feels very neutral in a good way — not overly trendy or oversized — so I could see them working for a lot of different face shapes and head sizes. The set also came nicely packaged with a case, pouches, and cleaning cloth, which made it feel more polished. The price lands somewhere between bargain glasses and premium brands, which feels fair for the design and included accessories. If you like the idea of one pair pulling double duty for screen time and outdoor wear, these are worth a look. Review: Nice Clip-on Dark Glasses But Dubious Blue-light Effects - I had seen advertisements for blue-blocking glasses for use with a computer, but I had never tried them. I decided to give this pair a try, because it seemed to have some good features. The glasses did ship in nice packaging, including a solid outer box and a nice soft sleeve with an inner pouch, along with a micro-fiber cloth. The glasses themselves look quite nice and are solidly built, with dark black frames and a classic shape to the lenses. In addition, these glasses come with a custom-fitting pair of clip-on polarizing dark glasses, which fit the glasses perfectly and adhere to them magnetically. The only point where I hesitate to declare these glasses to be excellent is the blue-blocking capability. Never having used blue-blocking glasses before, I did not know what to expect. However, I did expect to see some sort of difference in my vision when I tried them on. In fact, I saw essentially no difference. These glasses are supposed to block blue light, and thereby reduce eye strain from looking at a computer screen. For me, I cannot say that this happened. I looked through these glasses at my computer screen and saw what I ordinarily see. I tried looking at blue items, and saw no difference. I went outside on a bright day and looked at the blue sky and saw essentially no difference. I will say that, when I looked at the lenses themselves, I thought I saw a very slight yellowish tint, which is supposed to mean the blue-blocking filter is present in the lenses. But there was no noticeable effect on looking through the lenses. Maybe, if I wore these glasses for a longer period of time, I would start to notice a difference from the blue-blocking feature. For now, though, I consider that feature to be of no use to me. The clip-on dark glasses are nice, though. So, I am giving these glasses the benefit of the doubt and rating them with four stars, though I feel that is a generous rating.

Versatile for both Blue‑Light and Sunglass Use
I’ve been using the CLIPTONIC 2‑in‑1 Magnetic Clip‑On Blue Light Blocking Glasses (Round Cat‑Eye Frame) for the past few days while walking outside, driving, and working on the computer. I’m not a particularly fashion‑forward person, but these frames strike a nice balance—they look stylish without feeling overly trendy. The shape works well both indoors, where they resemble regular prescription glasses, and outdoors with the clip‑on sunglasses attached. I also appreciate that the clip‑ons blend seamlessly with the frame, so it’s not obvious they’re attachments. The frames are lightweight, comfortable, and don’t create any pressure on my ears or nose. The magnetic clips attach and remove easily, yet hold very securely. To test them, I tried to shake the glasses hard while holding them in my hand; it took quite a bit of force to dislodge the clips—more than you’d ever generate just by moving your head. In normal use, they’re not going anywhere. As for blue‑light blocking, the effect is noticeable. Whites on my screen shift to a warmer, slightly yellow tone—similar to Apple’s “Night Shift” mode. When I enable Night Shift on my device, the screen looks essentially the same with or without the glasses, which suggests the lenses are indeed filtering out the blue portion of the spectrum. Both the regular lenses and the sunglass clip‑ons are optically clear with no distortion at the center or edges. The clip‑on sunglasses are polarized, though they don’t cut glare quite as aggressively as some of my other polarized sunglasses. That said, they’re dark enough for bright sunlight while still allowing enough visibility on overcast days. Build quality seems solid. The temples are metal near the hinges and transition to plastic farther back, while the frame itself is plastic. They have enough flexibility to bend slightly without feeling fragile, and they return to shape without issue. I wouldn’t expect them to withstand major abuse, but they’ve survived pockets and a few (intentional and unintentional) drops with no problems. If you’re looking for a single pair of glasses that can reduce blue light indoors and double as polarized sunglasses outdoors, the CLIPTONIC 2‑in‑1 Magnetic Clip‑On Glasses offer a practical and well‑designed solution.

These things are cute and effective
What a nice pair of shades, I really like these 2 in 1 magnetic clip on blue light blocking glasses, I have used them every day since they arrived. The quality of these is better than expected for the price point, especially considering that it's like 2 pairs of glasses in 1. The TR90 frame feels lightweight when I wear them, they feel durable, so I am not worried about breaking them or them loosening with wear. The blue light filtering is great! I work from home on the computer all day, with these glasses the bright whites shift to a warmer, softer tone that feels far less harsh on my eyes. After long amounts of time staring at a screen my eyes feel more relaxed / less fatigued, which tells me the lenses are doing their job effectively. I also like that the clarity remains sharp and they are foggy or blurry. They include a magnetic clip on sunglasses are a standout feature. The magnets line up easily & hold firmly in place, staying secure even when I move or walk around a lot. The polarized clip does a great job cutting glare when I am outside & reducing brightness. I really like the convenience of being able to switch from indoor screen use to outdoor sun protection without carrying an extra pair of glasses, it's super convenient and versatile. Despite being lightweight, the glasses don’t feel fragile. The frame flexes without feeling flimsy, and the magnets seem strong enough to last through frequent use. I have been using them for weeks with no issues. The kit includes protective pouches & a cleaning cloth which makes the whole thing feel better quality and a better value. This product is versatile, comfortable, and effective, & an excellent value for the price. I have no complaints! Love how they look also, super cute.

Strong magnet with a well built frame
These glasses are effective and easy to transform. The magnet is fairly strong, and the sunglass lenses stay on firmly and I have no fear of them falling. They have a secondary magnet that allows them to flip up as well. The blue light blocking seems to work well, and I have no complaints about it. The glasses fold neatly and securely, holding a slim profile and keeping the arms from moving. The case is a faux leather slide-in protector. It protects the lenses from scratches, but it won't be too useful for impacts. It does come with a microfiber protector which is a good quality. The only real complaint I have is that it doesn't fit quite as securely on my head as it could. It is slightly lose, but not enough to fall off when I shake my head. It won't do well for any real physical activity, but won't be a problem for anything else. I just have to adjust them every once in a while. In the end, they are well built and the sunglass frames stay on strongly while being loose enough to be able to pull off without a problem.

Lightweight and comfortable, but mildly impractical and inadequate
These glasses are an interesting concept, but are not the most practical. I have worn these in various conditions and locations and they seem to underperform. While they have held up for the time I’ve been using them, they are constructed primarily of plastic with metal around the hinges for support. They are lightweight and are comfortable enough, but I’ve been worried when placing them into a bag without a hard case. It is worrisome that the lightest pressure may cause them to break. The conversion between sunglasses/blue light blocker is straight forward with the magnets and small hook-like mechanism over the bridge (which does not interfere or cause any discomfort to the wearer). An interesting design choice was made to make the sunglass attachment have 2 hinges in the middle so when removed, they can fold up and be placed in a smaller pocket. I did not notice this as a design and thought I had broken the attachment at first. While this allows you to store the sunglass portion in a smaller pocket, I was especially hesitant doing so in a tight pocket. When it folds, it does not meet together, so external pressure from the outsides might break them. While they have a fashion-forward appearance in both sunglasses mode and blue light blocking, they are inadequate when used as sunglasses. While on a coastal vacation, the sun was a major hassle with this glasses due to the glare and the size of the lenses. Glare was caused by the double layer of lenses (sunglasses attachment on the blue light blockers) and the size of the lenses allowed too much sunlight over the top of the lenses. If you were to wear these in combination with a hat, they work alright. The blue light blockers are adequately effective. Compared to other blue light blocking filters on other prescription glasses, these seem to be a little aggressive with the color shift. When wearing outside without the sunglasses, they turn everything grossly green. The glasses claim to have polarization, but it is minimal. I have other cheaper options that seem to have a more polarizing effect than these do. I do not perceive a practical day to day usage for these glasses from going outside and coming inside to work on a screen. The only usage I’ve been able to find is to keep them as a pair of driving glasses. Especially with the bright headlights nowadays, the blue light blockers can offer minor protection while night driving and the sunglasses assist during the day.

Exceptional Polarized with UV400 Sunglasses, plus Blue-Light Protection
I am really loving these two-in-one CLIPTONIC glasses. They are constructed of TR90 plastic. If you research it online, you'll find that it is a type of plastic that is extremely lightweight, flexible, very durable, and is a popular choice for affordable high-end eyeglasses. Using a 2-in-1 design, the clear lenses are blue-light blocking, made specially for indoor screens. They are described as filtering 80% of dangerous blue-violet light. The Clip-on sunglasses are stated to be TAC lenses. I've read that there are two types of sun glass lenses, PC {Polycarbonate), and TAC (Triacetate Cellulose). Both types have their advantages. TAC lenses are lightweight, excellent for sports, driving, and other outdoor activities. TAC lenses are also less costly than conventional PC polarized lenses because of the process used in their manufacturing process. These clip-ons highlight polarized lenses with UV400 protection, that blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays, which cover the full UV spectrum required for use outdoor. According to those specifications, it appears that they are exactly what I should look for when purchasing sunglasses. I have been wearing them mainly for walking outdoors, and driving and find them to be excellent for both. They are very dark, and are excellent at cutting down the glare when driving. I’m really happy with the performance of these 2-in-1 glasses. The only comment I have is that they are a little large for my face, as there was no choice in sizing. However they do fit, and do not slide off of my face. I think that is because of the spring hinges that kind of hug the face. The operation is excellent. You don’t really have to “clip” on the sunglasses. Just lay them on top of the glasses, and the magnets attach almost automatically. They attach and detach with ease. Regarding the blue-light blocking, that was not the main reason I purchased the glasses, but I have been using the blue-light feature while on the PC, and I do find that it does help to prevent tired and burning eyes. The performance of these glasses is exceptional, and I am happy to give a 5 star rating.

Convenient, but I question the pricing
I've mostly enjoyed this set of glasses. The blue light blocking works really well and so does the UV polarization. Both provide a very noticeable difference and eye comfort. It's also very convenient being able to quickly switch from normal glasses to sunglasses. It comes with a storage bag and glasses sleeve as well. My main gripe is with the quality of the glasses themselves; the frame is constantly making a creaking noise when opened/closed, and the plastic makes it feel cheap. They do hurt my ears after wearing for a while, but that could just be me as I tend to have this issue with a lot of glasses. I do also feel that the locking mechanism for the sunglasses to lock into the main frame is lacking. It only locks in from the top/front, and while that does work and feel secure in some cases, if you hit them at the right angle on the side then the sunglasses go flying off. They're decent and I do like them, but I'm just not sure that they're worth this price.
