Samsung SmartThings Motion Sensor - 2018
I have bought several SmartThings Motion Sensors (2018 version) and they work reliably and perform well.I have these installed within a few rooms around my house and primarily use them to control lights when someone enters/leaves the room. When positioned well they can detect motion instantly from the other side of the room without any problems. I would say that it probably takes about a second for my lights to come on when I walk in the room. Battery life seems to be good also. I have a few other branded Zigbee motion sensors and the Samsung 2018 sensors seem more responsive than all the others I have.I also do like the magnetic base design which can be placed anywhere and the sensor can be easily moved in any direction. As with all the Smarthings sensors, they are also easy to connect to the hub. They also do measure temperature but I don't have any automations setup based on temperature so I have not really used this feature.Tip: I wanted my lights to switch off as quickly as possible after I have left a room, however I have these motion sensors in rooms such as my office or living room where I may sit down and not move much therefore the sensors would turn lights off after a short time because no movement was being detected; this was somewhat annoying when actually still in the room. To get around this, I have configured my automations to not turn the light off only when the sensor detects no motion in the room I am occupying, but also when motion IS detected from another sensor in an adjacent room! When I leave a room, I have to go past other sensors everytime so I now have automations configured so that when motion is no longer detected in the room I have been in, it also checks if motion being detected in the adjacent hall ways, only then will it turn the office/living room lights off. This seems to work well even if you leave the room and are then only in the adjacent hall way for a brief moment. You're welcome!Overally, great sensors, highly recommended.

Works well, but very sensitive to location and questionable battery life
I bought this for the garage for a couple of reasons...The first is for security so that Smartthings can alert me if it detects the garage door opening. The second is an added bonus - temperature detection and safety. I weld in my garage and always have a cleardown and fire check before I finish, however it always worries me that there may be something smouldering when I lock the garage door. I've set Smartthings to alert me if this device reads more than 30C (unlikely in normal use, in Scotland!).Now, I know this isn't the same as having a genuine smoke detector in the garage but it might alert me that something is off before *everything* burns to the ground! But that was genuinely an added bonus - I ordered it for the motion detection and, placed behind the garage door, it works great!Well, it works great after I moved the Smartthings Hub to the other side of the living room so that it is now 12ft closer to the garage... Before I did that the sensor kept losing contact with the hub - not entirely surprising with a great big metal door in front of it, to be fair. The other thing that struck me was that the batteries plunged to 78% in the first week. Six weeks in they have stabilised at 76% so I suspect this was because the sensor kept losing connection and would waste energy trying to reconnect. If the rate is now ~2% a month then that's definitely good going.I'll update this review in a month if battery usage has stabilished.

Great wee sensor
These things cost a bit more than some brands, but they are solid! Work very reliably and easily.I use them with home assistant and deconz. I have 5 now but I’ll likely pickup more in the future.

Probably the best multi sensor in the market.
Work straight out of the box. Open and close feature worked great and response time is excellent within SmartThings. It is a bit slow when linked to IFTTT on a virtual button to control a sonoff relay. There is about 2 seconds delay. The vibration sensor is great, you can set it up to send you an alert or trigger an automation if a vibration is detected. One great feature I like is that you can see all events over a period of time and the temperature sensor is very accurate. It could do with being smaller and have more flat surfaces so you can mount it 90 degrees on a sliding door. Overall great sensor, I just hope one day Smartthing can work with HomeKit... wishful thinking I know.

Class Bit Of Kit
I got this to use for two reasons;1) Work with my smart bulbs to turn on after a certain time2) Work with our smart alarm as a motion sensorEasy to install? Super easy. Literally take off the sticky section and that bottom section sticks to the wall (plan out where it is going first as it will be hard to remove) then get the physical motion sensor and it is magnetized.Easy to sync? Again yes. I just downloaded the Smart Things app and it does all the legwork.Looks good? Its very discrete and I have mine in a high traffic area of my home and you never notice it.Battery life? This one I cannot fully answer yet and only time will tell but had it a few months and still works fine. I am not sure how to replace the battery but will update when I need to.Cannot recommend this enough.
