Francis: The Poor Man of Assisi (Life of a Saint)

Gift for my grandniece - and she and her mom and dad love the book - they read to her all the time. She is in kindergarten now.

This series is our favorite saint's series yet. Such beautiful pictures and no dry biographical reporting. All the kids love them.

My kids have all the Ignatius Press books. We love this one and it's pictures are entertaining. I recommend all their Saint books. My kids ages were 4 and 3 years old when we started reading them. They held still and listened to the books.

This story is very sweet, but not over-sugary like some St. Francis books. A beautiful depiction of a saint. My 4 year old loves it, but I think it would have appeal to much older children, as well. Can't wait to get the others in the series.
