Not bad
This book was ok. Easy to read and had some good info. I few times I was left wanting to know more info that I thought would be covered in the book. Chapter 3 was very long and I felt it could have been divided into separate chapters. I was a little disappointed that the scientific research that was mostly talked about in the book mainly came from the 1980’s-90’s. Some early 2000’s. For the book to be published in 2016 I was hoping for more current info and research. The best part about the book was the high number and quality of pictures of alligators throughout each chapter.Overall I would recommend the book to anyone interested in learning more about alligators in Texas. It was a good book for less than $10.I did appreciate the understanding that the author conveyed to the reader in that alligators are not always a nuisance, but we as humans can live with them safely. We do not have to automatically fear them.

Really good book on alligators. Author writes with the authority of having studied her subjects for decades. Great photos, well laid out, good coverage. Highly recommended!
