Holds a lot of liquid, works great!
We have an aging Doberman with some medical issues. Recently he has not been able to hold it all night and we have been waking up to a huge amount of liquid in his crate. (Door off, but he prefers sleeping there) Sometimes he barks to go out, sometimes he doesn't. Anyway, I was using almost a roll of paper towels to clean up each accident. The time it would take to absorb everything, then clean everything was frustrating. In the middle of the night I ordered these, I didn't think he would keep a diaper or a belly band on. Today I got up and let him out early, came in to check and the pad was quite full. The top did not feel wet, maybe a little cold. I pulled it out and it did not leak. Although I was careful, just in case. I was able to clean the tiny bit that was left in there (a sprinkle) with 2 paper towels, then disinfect and rinse. This is a huge improvement, he can sleep comfortably where he wants and isn't in a puddle. I placed the second one over the carpet where he normally takes a nap as well. I have washed both, used cold water, and in the dryer on cool. No noticeable shrinkage or damage. Looking at other reviews I think I will air dry to help them last longer. These were well worth the money. Not only for his comfort, but my sanity as well. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs a good crate pad, I folded the sides underneath and it still absorbed everything and he hasn't tried to chew it at all. It would be good for puppies and incontinent older pups as well. They come in different sizes, I bought larger than I needed so I could cover more carpet. The grooming glove was a nice bonus, he very much enjoyed all the attention and seemed to really like the way it felt.

Great quality, impressed
I purchased a 2 pack of the 36 x 72" pads a few months ago shortly after my dog started having issues with urinary incontinence. I was so impressed that I bought another 2 pack (and one 72" x 72" pad) about a month later so I would always have clean ones on hand. The orders all arrived quickly, the pads are excellent quality, and they have been absolute life and sanity savers! Typically, I have one covering part of my futon (where my dog often naps and snuggles with me while I'm at home), and one covering my carpet by the front door (which works great for accidents AND for when there's wet/snowy weather). I've washed each several times and dried them on "extra low", and they have always finished drying within less than 1 dryer cycle (the one exception being when I had the pads folded over multiple times in the dryer). Even though I no longer have to put quarters into a dryer, the fairly brief dry time is still very much appreciated. Further, they look nice and clean each time they come out. Apparently, his wet, very muddy paws and my dirty sneakers/boots haven't seemed to destroy their appearance yet. In terms of how often I change them, while I realize this is somewhat of a personal decision and is also dependent on the amount of urine regularly deposited on them, I do not change them all that often (once a week or less). However, my dog usually only leaks small to medium volumes of urine on them (and he is usually just dripping, though sometimes heavily, versus purposefully lifting his leg and letting out a full bladder). For the pads on the floor, I just blot the wet area well with paper towels, saturate it with some enzyme cleaner for pet urine, and just leave them in place. Recently, after developing a UTI, he accidentally let out a full bladder of urine, but thankfully nothing leaked through. That time I did immediately replace the pad with a clean one, but that was also because the urine contained some nasty bacteria. For those planning to use these on hard floors, I cannot speak to how well they will remain in place. On carpet and upholstery, I do regularly need to readjust their position slightly, but that is to be expected. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this item. They aren't some paper thin, flimsy pads either, but fairly substantial. To the sellers that manufacture these, thank you!

Amazing Product
Perfect product for messy dogs! They are machine washable which, that in itself, should be a HUGE selling point. Easy clean up! My husband and I own a small dog training business, and one thing we do to give back to our community, is we take in rescue dogs, train them and then find them homes through many of our partner rescues. Every rescue dog has its own issues. Sometimes we have adult dogs who aren’t accustomed to having to go outside to potty or they spent their entire lives outside and are being transitioned in and the don’t know where they are allowed to potty. These pads are perfect for that! We kennel the dogs and place these mats underneath to catch any mess! They are very absorbent and you don’t have to worry about moving them and making a mess in doing so! For the past five months we had 10 rescue pups in our facility. Dane/rottie mixed pups. So big mess makers. I was growing tired of having to buy pee pads and having them torn to absolute shreds by these pups. Not to mention the cost of pee pads is not cheap especially when you pay out of pocket for enough pee pads for 10 pups. All of our rescue work (with some exceptions) we have to pay out of pocket for. This includes pee pads, food, medicines ect. And it’s not cheap. At this time we also had 8 adult rescues in as well. So trying to save as much money as we could while also making sure the necessities we’re taking care of was difficult. We were buying the largest box of disposable pee pads as we could just about once a week. And then this product showed up on my recommended page of Amazon. So I said what the heck. I bought and it has been one of the best products ever. If you have to transport a dog in your new car and you’re afraid they may pee in the kennel while on the drive and that it’ll splash out ect. Just place one of these mats underneath, it catches everything! And after the transport is over, you can roll it up and toss it in the wash ready to go for the next ride or next pup! I am beyond pleased and may be buying more in the future! Definitely shared this product with every rescue friend and foster friend of mine!

Awesome mats!!
This is my first review here, ever, and I'm doing it to save someone else all the scrolling and search time I did trying to solve the eternal problem of puppies vs. flooring. We got our 10 week old puppy, Emmie, back in February. She came from a breeder that used pens with kennels and litter boxes. The whole litter box idea was new to us, but boy, did that save us many a sleepless night! If you can, do it! The biggest set-up issue, was figuring out how to safely, and effectively, protect the flooring in our bedroom (carpet) and livingroom (hardwood). Needless to say, I was more than a bit skeptical that any one product would work, so I decided to play it safe and double-layer. I wanted something that was safe for Emmie, reusable/washable (had to stay waterproof!), wouldn't scratch or stain the floors, or smell like chemicals, rubber, etc. Thankfully, of the two products we chose, both worked great. Go figure! The mats listed here, we use as a top layer. The bottom one can also be found at Amazon. Search for something called a "Splat Mat" by Womumon, with a picture of it under a highchair. It's listed as "anti-slip", 51"×51", for around $15. It's thin, but waterproof, doesn't skid, and it works as a final, just-in-case layer between the top and your flooring. Both of these mat types are awesome. I've washed them many times, all together, using All with Oxi Odor Lifter detergent and Warm water, but I did add an extra final rinse cycle, just to be sure. Then, I machine dry them all on Low. BTW, the Splat Mat says not to tumble dry, but I do it all the time. I just make sure it's on low. If you're at all uncomfortable with that, you could let it hang dry over a shower curtain rod. Good luck!

Glad I have these!
First off, these are great to line a puppy pen with to protect the floors. I don’t have to worry about spilled water and urine. I’m using disposables on top to train the pups, which they use about 90% of the time. If they miss and hit these washable pads, I don’t have to worry. Only downside is that I have a hard time getting the urine smell out 100%. I have soaked them in a 3:1 vinegar mix for a day and that helps break down the urine and kills most of the stank. I then put in the washer once to get the vinegar out. Then I send it through a second time with detergent. Then I hang dry so I extend the useful life. Water will drip when I hang dry, so I hang on the shower rod and let drip dry on towels. Most of the smell comes out this way. Enough to keep using them. I change out once per week unless there is a lot of urine, I’ll put the small size in those areas where they like to go, and change more frequently. I notice that they are not 100% leakproof. My dogs are small approximately 2 lbs at the moment, so I haven’t seen leaking on the floor, but I can see the urine saturated on the bottom when I turn it over. I lined the floor with a thin tarp, so I don’t have to worry if any fluid gets through. The urine goes into the pads which is nice so that the pups feet stay drier. I have bought all the sizes several orders. Totally worth it if you can handle the washing. I picked up the vinegar bottles at dollar tree. They work great, 1 cup vinegar to 3 cups water. Helps to soak in a small area to conserve the mix.

Save money buy the washable pads
These washable potty pads are a fantastic product. I am training my dogs to stay inside while I’m at work. The pads don’t leak thanks to the leak proof underside. I love that they are washable. After using the disposable potty pads for one of my elderly dog. I purchased these last year. I held off. I’m leaving a review so I could give an honest review after using the washable pads. I give it a five star because it’s well deserving. If you are interested in buying a washable pads to get away from the disposable ones these would be the perfect thing to get. Plus, you aren’t spending all your money to buy a disposable pad just to use it and throw it away. The washable pads are the way to go for savings.

Awesome - from someone who deals with multiple foster litters
I foster with a local animal rescue. My specialty is pregnant moms and large litters of puppies. When you have over 4+ puppies, the poop and pee situation becomes unbearable. I started hating the disposable potty pads because urine can soak through and because I was throwing away mounds of them every time someone peed on them (I don't know how people let a dog poop or pee on them multiple times before throwing away, gross). It was costly and bad for the environment. The puppies also chewed them to bits. And so I found these. We have over 50 of them so we always have clean ones and extras. We go through all 50 almost daily. They are freaking awesome. They don't slip. They soak up and absorb urine like a champ. I have washed them hundreds of times with no issues and 0 leaks. As soon as they are used, I put them in the wash with a gentle detergent and tons of vinegar and the smell comes right out. You have to use vinegar in both the fabric softner dispenser and dump some right over the pads, otherwise the smell will linger. Vinegar is cheap and easy and neutralizes the odor. We use them on the ground where the puppies normally go potty. We use them over the beds when they are too young to leave the bed. We use them to cover the rugs if we want to let the puppies roam and still keep our rugs safe. We use them on the couches if we want to watch TV but want to have the puppies with us. They are perfect a d keep my furniture and house from smelling like dog and poop and pee. I recommend these to everyone. If you have a pet, you should just have some on hand just in case. Sooo much better than anything else I have found.

Definitely is waterproof, but better for flatter surfaces
We got these dog pads for a large dog with CKD, and she would wet her bed nightly til I was able to reverse the SYMPTOMS OF INCONTINENCE not the disease itself by removing dry dog food (miraculously her labs improved from level 2 to 1) look up natural ckd dog diets & confer with your vet as I did, she was against it at 1st but changed her mind after the 3rd blood lab in 6 weeks.. Hannah stil has ups n downs but is much better than the vet predicted. Anyhow, we have plushy type dog beds and tho these have a nice grippy bottom layer it stil shifted around quite a bit when Hannah pawed her bed trying to get comfy. I like these a lot, we have them in different sizes and I have used them as a layer under another elasticized bed cover to keep in place and provide leak protection. I think they are best on the floor or sofa, flat beds etc as once a dog steps on it on a soft bed it bunches up stiffly. Or as a under layer as I use it. All in all very useful. Washes well in warm water, I line dry after reading reviews, and its held up for several washes just fine. Its strong and stiff material. A good buy👍

SUPER 👌🏿

The only mats that come in the 3’ x 6’ size!
These have been a lifesaver while we’re at home full-time during lockdown with our kids and three puppies! They’re absorbent enough to withstand our 70 pound, 6 month old Newfoundland’s accidents and they’re easy to throw in the washer and dryer to clean. They don’t move around much on the hardwood floor even with three dogs racing around the house when they have their puppy crazy times. We had carpet runners down before but no matter how many times I shampooed them they must have retained some odour because the dogs kept peeing on them all the time. Now with the reusable pads their accidents have decreased dramatically, and when they do pee it’s easy to clean with no worry that the odour will stick around. I’ve bought 6 of the XL ones (36” x 72”) so I’d have some spares to use when any were in the wash. Best investment I’ve made in keeping my house clean and smelling fresh, and it’s definitely helped discourage the puppies from peeing inside!

Awesome size, sustainable, and does the job!
I love how big the product is (purchased the largest), stops unnecessary rubbish for landfill, looks good, easy to wash - forget puppy pads, this is what you need! I bought two, so one is in the wash while another is being used

Sooo handy!!
I purchased these pads because my Maine Coon kitten loves to splash water everywhere from her water bowl and that doesn't mix well with hardwood floors. These pads are amazing and work so well, I was very surprised at the amount of water they hold with NO leakage!! Of course, she had water all over the pad and it was definitely wet on the top, but completely DRY underneath. I bought the 4-pack, so all I did was remove the pad, put down a fresh one and tossed the other one in the dryer and 15 minutes later....voila! I decided to try another pad for under her litter box and to my surprise, it works great, even better than what I was originally using!! Highly recommend these pads. My situation is probably unique in that I wasn't looking for a pee pad, but it's the same principal - keep the floor dry underneath whether it's pee or water!! Great purchase and so happy!!
