I purchased the Dell Pro 13-14 Plus Ecoloop Backpack which is advertised as fitting a 14-inch laptop or less. I just wanted to say that I have a 15-inch MacBook Air and it fits perfectly inside the laptop compartment with even a little room to spare. It's a compact backpack that's intended primarily for office-type items like a notebook, pen, computer mouse, sunglasses, earbuds, etc., but it seems to have a slot for every one of those items. Think of this as more of a laptop bag with backpack straps. I love it.

Just bought it so I can't yet speak to reliability. But as far as the size and design of the bag, it seems just right. Not too large but just big enough for my 14" laptop and all the accessories and snacks I need to survive air travel. Only giving it four stars because it is lacking features that I have come to expect in a bag, such as an internal mount for hanging a key ring, or a USB passthrough. I purchased a hard clamshell sleeve for my laptop to give it added protection since the bag is soft.

I owned a previous version of this backpack (two copies, in fact). I used it for commuting to work and for travel. it took a lot of beating, but was extremely reliable - the straps, the zippers, etc. retained integrity. the side mesh water bottle pockets got stretched, but it's a minor thing. the previous version of this backpack had lots of pockets, including the cushioned laptop and tablet sleeves, internal zipped mesh pocket, and lots of other smaller pockets for necessities. I bought this new version expecting the same. while the backpack construction still seems sturdy, the number of pockets was cut down substantially - no more dedicated tablet sleeve, no more internal mesh pocket, and roughly half of the internal smaller pockets are now gone. a huge disappointment.
