ECOBOSS N-Type Solarpanel ECOBOSS Solarpanel kit ECOBOSS LiFePO4 Battery Review: Good quality, good output, and very portable - FTC Note: I am reviewing this as part of a promotion I’ve had these panels for a few days. I am rebuilding my deck and I am going to hoist these on top to use as a trickle charge for my power station I use when we occasionally loose power. I just need enough to keep furnaces, lights, and a fridge going. Until that’s all set up, these are my “luggable panels”. I’ve taken photos of the app to show the output, the test setup, pointed at the sun, and the labels and anti-reversing diode. The panels were well packaged and it was easy to take them out and set them up. The steel frame is easy to hold the panels by and they can be mounted using them. There’s nothing of note for the panels in terms of damage, smudges, or other concerns. The wire for the panels is 12AWG/4mm^2 90c rated and at least within the US rules is good for 25A. I’m running in series for this test and the amps are in turn the single digits. These compare favorably to my brand new Q Cells panels I had installed a few weeks prior on my roof. These are outputting 160-170W when direct sunlight hit the panels. My over-paneled microinverters are performing slightly worse on my roof incidental conditions. When the sun drifted a bit and the panels became partially shaded the performance dropped to about 100W for the two panels, which is to be expected from my single MPPT string and no optimizers. As a point of comparison, my roof system is producing 40% of its maximum rating at this same moment. These are very light modules and you should have no issue moving them single handed. Like all panels you’ll want to protect them from physical damage but they’re well made for their purpose. If you need a small panel these are a very good option at a competitive MSRP. Review: This is a nice solid 100+ watt panel. - This showed up yesterday and luckily we have a nice sunny day here in the Cincinnati area to test this thing. First it comes well boxed, no issues there. I think it looks great. I was anxious to test it, even though it was early in the day (approximately 10:45 a.m) and I was surprised to be getting over 94 watts! Solar noon was around 12:45 and there were some very thin wispy clouds, but power output was consistently right around 100 watts or slightly over. That was with a panel temp of 119 degrees. Not bad for March 6th. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a second one of these.

Absolutely Awesome
Got this to power my 300w Enginestar 300w solar power station. Put it up on my storage shed roof and it's unbelievable! Pulling in 60+w and my fan and light draw only 24w. Lotsa power to spare.

Good packaging
Panels arrived undamaged, padded with multiple layers of packing foam in reasonably thick cardboard. They’re a little smaller than the 200w panels in length and width but same thickness. They’re also nearly identical in Voc and amperage and have the same specs for temperature, so they matched well with those panels in a series-parallel setup for my existing solar generator without overvolting. I wish the cables integrated into the panels were a little longer when trying to connect to a PV disconnect switch, but a short extension cable isn’t the end of the world! It’s too cloudy today to check output, but my existing EcoBoss 200w panels output close to their rated wattage, so I expect these will also be the same on a sunny day!

Surprisingly good
For the price these are fantastic solar panels, as long as you accept the fact that they do not have any shade tolerance. If you live in an area without a lot of shade these will be perfect. Pulling nearly 210 watts from them at 2pm in North Carolina. Great bang for the buck.

Good panel
Seems of decent quality, makes power from sunshine. What more can one ask for. Will update my review if anything comes up
