Think Like A Leader, Act Like A Boss (Think Like A Leader Series) - Kindle edition by Patterson, Chris. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Think Like A Leader, Act Like A Boss (Think Like A Leader Series). Review: A Real-World Playbook for Leaders Who Want to Succeed — and Help Their Teams Do the Same - "Think Like A Leader, Act Like A Boss" is exactly the kind of book we need right now. As someone who runs two busy newsrooms in Los Angeles, I appreciate how digestible the information is — you can easily jump around, pick up what you need in the moment, and immediately put it into practice. It can be hard to navigate when you’re the point person, but this book gives you the space to think like a leader — something we rarely get in our busy day-to-day lives. It offers both inspiration and real-time, practical information you can actually use. What makes it stand out is that it’s not written by someone trying to be the smartest person in the room. It’s written by someone who wants you to be smart, well-informed, and successful. The tips and insights are practical, clear, and refreshingly free of corporate jargon. It’s a resource I find myself going back to regularly, whether I need a quick reminder on setting expectations, a fresh approach to feedback, or simply a leadership mindset reset. For new managers, growing leaders, or anyone trying to inspire a team with clarity and confidence, this book delivers exactly what it promises. Jamie Paige, Publisher, Current Media Review: Building Character As A Cornerstone - Patterson establishes a well-thought-out and explored framework to distinguish between when and how managers and leaders emerge. He presents and builds each foundational component of business that can contribute to the readers’ success. In his vision, each step doesn’t get dismantled from a concept someone else has built; there is no teardown or breakdown, but he independently rebuilds his own foundation and staircase. Never taking a step backwards, he doesn’t stop for any hurdles but always moves forward with direction. The reader benefits from a clear canvas and builds a new cornerstone, building on presence, strategy, and professionalism. He constructs a visible path that is not blocked by what some leaders have done, but shovels an open path that the reader can explore for themselves. He doesn’t stop short of giving the keys to becoming an efficient, grounded motivational leader; it is laid out clearly. This is not only a must-read for aspiring managers and leaders striving for success, but for every level of business to achieve success.

The book I wish my company gave me when they promoted me into leadership.
Having recently made the leap into a leadership position I was surprised to find the transition more difficult than expected. This book has made a considerable difference for me in how I approach the role. The author communicates his idea’s in a clean and motivating style with plenty of simple yet actionable ideas. I particularly enjoyed the discourse about when to manage vs when to lead and it exposed me to new ways to do both more effectively. Also a great chapter on executive presence. I gained a lot from this book and am looking forward to diving into the next one. Highly recommend!
