Review: It works for my 81 yr old husband who has digestive issues - First day, my husband's bloated stomach said, oh thank you wife for finding this product... he's taken it for 3 days and the results are wonderful. Less gas, bloating and rumbling from his tummy... signed a happy wife. Review: An effective supplement with a unique formula. I'm impressed with it. - I have very limited experience using this product, but that is by design. Fortunately, I do not have any major digestive issues, so I purchased this supplement with the idea of using it only if I have an occassional bout of mild heartburn or GERD. ( I follow a balanced diet and get my probiotics through yogurt, miso, sauerkraut, and kombucha, and that seems to be sufficient. ) I liked the idea of having this powder on hand though as a back-up to my diet, since foods of course require refrigeration and this supplement does not. That makes it perfect for travel or if/when my fridge is low. Also, since I can store this away on a shelf, I know I will always have something available if ever I had to take antibiotics and then needed to rebalance my stomach flora afterwards. Those all might be good reasons to have a probiotic powder on hand, but the important question is, of course, does this supplement work? My answer is a big YES. I took a packet of this powder in the evening and I woke up the next morning with my stomach feeling really GOOD...just feeling more soothed and balanced than it has in a long time. I was and am convinced this was no placebo effect. From reading the product's listing, there appears to be a lot of science behind this formulation; and it does state having third party verification (though no specific info on the lab used). Both my initial use of the powder, as well as just my gut feeling (sorry about the pun), tells me this is most likely be a safe and effective supplement for most. Still, it goes without saying that if you have specific health or digestive issues, this (or any supplement for that matter) should be passed by your doctor.

Consult with your doctor before using
I tried this product and had to stop use after having really bad abdominal cramp side effects the following day (it felt like central, sharp pain that nearly took me to my knees). As far as I can recall, my diet hadn't changed. As far as the powder goes, it clumps a little while stirring in water (as you could expect with most probiotic powder mixes), and has a light taste (akin to baby formula, very lightly sweet). The price is a little steep, even as I write this review, this product has a promo coupon that would take it down to $1.17 per packet. I would reach out to your primary care/general practitioner to see if this would benefit you.

Lack of transparency with ingredients
It's hard to tell how effective this is because the ingredients weren't very transparent. I can't have artificial sweeteners of any kind nor can I have soy. I wasn't expecting that to be in a probiotic powder so I wish there was more transparency with the ingredients here. My husband tried this and didn't notice any real benefit for his digestive system. It also didn't mix very well into water. There were no discernible side effects from taking this. Did not improve energy. Not super easy to use since it doesn't mix well in water. I would have rather had a powder to put on food that was tasteless and flavorless. Or in capsules. Very expensive.

Helpfull digestion.
These little powder packs are nice to have for whenever I eat something beyond meat and vegetables that I know is going to be harder to digest properly. Mostly carbohydrates in the grain and bread style as well as dairy products. What I like is being able to take it post meal. Because there's other ones out there that say to take it beforehand, and so many times that gets forgotten till it's too late. This one here you just mix and water or straight shoot it out of the pack. I keep mixing mine with room temperature water and where I'm at makes the powder a little bit hard to dissolve. So if you got around 70° F water it should blend pretty well. It says not to go above 40° C on the packaging. But my water probably still is a little bit on the colder side. But beyond that, it's sort of tastes like pancake mix. That sounds weird but it's not too bad. And then it just eases the stomach from all the issues of eating the type of foods, that I know are going to get me in the long run. I like that it comes in little packets to, so I can take it with me when I'm out and about, especially when you eat other people's foods and you're just not too sure what's in them. The box itself is also really well designed, and easily explains everything you need to know on its sides and top.

Powdered Form Gut/Probiotic supplement
This 30 day Gut Heal Digestive Probiotic Powder supplement comes with a full month’s supply and does not have a foul smell, which I appreciate. The biggest downside is the taste. It has a nasty aftertaste, takes a while to fully dissolve in water, and the flavor is unpleasant whether mixed in water or taken directly followed by water. The aftertaste also lingers while swallowing it. Despite the taste and mixing issues, I do feel like it has helped improve my bowel movements. I also like that it does not need to be refrigerated, which makes it more convenient to use. Having a probiotic included is definitely a bonus as well.

Thoughtfully Designed, Research-Backed Probiotic
Benefort Gut Heal Advanced Digestive Probiotic Powder presents a well‑constructed formulation aimed at general digestive support. It's a product of China, and gluten-free. The product combines Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17648 (Pylopass) with a 60‑billion CFU probiotic blend and the Gastro‑AD complex, resulting in a supplement that is more targeted than many standard probiotics. The inclusion of DSM17648 is notable, as this strain is recognized for its ability to bind unwanted bacteria in the stomach environment, and its presence differentiates this product from typical multi‑strain blends. The powder is packaged in individually sealed daily sachets, ensures consistent dosing. The powder dissolves easily in water or other liquids, and the flavor is mild enough to mix without altering taste significantly. In practical use, the formula appears designed to support general digestive comfort, particularly around meals. The combination of probiotics and the Gastro‑AD component is structured to help maintain a balanced digestive environment. Over consistent daily use, I expect the product may contribute to a reduction in common digestive discomforts such as occasional bloating or mild indigestion. Overall, this supplement is a thoughtfully designed, research‑backed probiotic option with a focus on targeted digestive support.

Upgraded probiotic blend
This is a pretty loaded probiotic formula, and it’s clearly trying to do more than just basic digestion support. The main thing that stands out is the total CFU and strain diversity. You’re getting a large blend across Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains, plus L. reuteri from Pylopass, which is one of the more studied strains for things like H. pylori support. On paper, this is a much more “full spectrum” probiotic than most simpler blends. I also like that they included Pylopass specifically. That’s a clinically studied heat-treated L. reuteri strain, and it’s a more targeted addition compared to just throwing in generic probiotics. It gives the formula a clearer purpose beyond just general gut health. I’ve been using this as a daily probiotic, and it feels more like a comprehensive gut support product than something basic. Not something I notice in a dramatic way day to day, but it does feel like a more complete "upgraded" probiotic compared to simpler probiotics. There are a lot of added ingredients like fucoidan, oligosaccharides, and yeast powder, which are interesting, but they feel more like smaller secondary add-ons rather than the main reason to take it, and they aren't present in large or meaningful amounts. Overall this is a high dose, multi-strain probiotic with some more targeted ingredients like Pylopass. If you want something more advanced than a basic probiotic and like the idea of a broader formula, this is a good option. Considering all of the science-based ingredients in this, it's a good value, and I like how convenient it is to take daily.
