Minimalist Trash and Recycling Icon Decals | Vinyl Sticker ONLY | Trash Can Labels, Recycle Bin Decal (White, Trash + Recycle)

I bought these a few weeks ago & finally applied them. Given the mix of reviews, I wanted to come back & give my 2 cents. First, I bought these despite the mixed reviews because the style was exactly what I wanted. We have 2 vintage/antique bullet trash cans, & the frilly/swirly designs of most stickers & decals just clash aesthetically. Second, these definitely are more like decals than stickers in terms of how they're applied. Luckily, we've used decals on our business window and, therefore, had experience with them. In short, no, you don't apply each little piece separately, as one reviewer mentioned. There are 2 pieces of transfer adhesive included that you apply first for application, which keeps them all in their proper position. You should use a scraper (like the one in my pictures) to affix this transfer adhesive & to affix the decals to your surface. We did have a couple of instances of the decal not adhering to the transfer adhesive, but we just coaxed it off with the edge of the scraper. Easy enough. After applying the decals to our cans, we went over them with a wallpaper smoother. All said, decals tend to be more difficult to work with than stickers, but in that way, these are no different than any other decals we've ordered over he years from various vendors (including the big companies that businesses often order from). We're very happy with these decals, & they look nice.

These look amazing on my trash can lids. But they are a pain in the behind to apply. I had to work really hard to get them to cooperate. Almost lost one but persevered. End result is outstanding, but you might struggle getting them applied. Fair warning.

Hard to tell sometimes what you're getting from the description alone. Thought these would be a single peel and stick type of sticker we have used in the past but these are actually more like automotive decals where there are multiple sections and pieces to the decal itself. A transfer paper is then applied to the front before the entire decal can be applied to the surface of the item. Doing all of this involves extra steps and introduces margin for errors. Although I have experience with applying many vinyl decals, it's not a very efficient process and, for the same cost, I would prefer a regular peel and stick type of sticker. These are adequate and look fine. Just know what you're getting.

Glad I bought these decals. I was initially looking at these small expensive magnets because all I could find is 5 or 6 inch stickers that were way too gaudy to put on my trash barrels in my kitchen. They were easy to apply. I love these because they're simple and not huge and I love the look.

These stickers come unassembled basically. You have to stick them to a clear thing then stick them to your trash can. There’s a bunch of little pieces that didn’t come off the original piece and it looks terrible now. DO NOT BUY.

The perfect size decals for our bins inside the house. We host a lot so don’t want people having to guess or ask. I have never had to apply transfer sticker to the decal and then apply a decal but having purchased over 25 decals in my life (for laptops, windows, water bottles, guitar case, etc.) I don’t mind this extra step. I’ve purchased decals where the actual decal would not remove from the transfer sticker or there would be a residue left. Though confused at first it was a very easy and smooth application. Stickness looks solid and I would happily purchase these again. Cost might deter some but these were worth it.

They are a little tricky to apply, but if you do it right, they are perfect.
