This is the first time I've tried a long raincoat. After using it in the rain while working outside, I ended up liking it a lot. It's thick enough that it doesn't feel like a disposable raincoat, but still light enough to pack into its own pouch and tuck away easily. What I like about it: I got the navy blue color, and they really nailed it. It's a great shade of blue. I also really like the length. It's very useful in a heavy downpour when you need full coverage. The fabric feels like a good-quality woven polyester material. I was honestly expecting something more like a vinyl-type fabric. It seems like it should hold up reasonably well against minor wear and tearing, though I still wouldn't expect it to be tear-resistant. What could be better: like most raincoats, it adds a lot of warmth, but I wouldn't rely on that to stay comfortable for long periods. If you spend too much time in it without ventilation, heat and moisture can build up inside and leave you damp anyway. Since this raincoat is very long and doesn't have any ventilation cutouts, it's more prone to that issue. So if you're wearing it for a while, it's a good idea to open it up and ventilate when you can. Another area that could be improved is the seams. There doesn't appear to be any seam sealing over the stitching. That hasn't caused any issues for me so far, but in a heavy downpour, I could see water slowly seeping in through the stitch holes. Seam sealing would definitely make it better. It's not a big deal, since you can apply seam sealer yourself if you want that extra protection. I think this is a very usable raincoat, and I'll probably keep it in the car for emergencies. I can also see it being useful for anyone who has to work outside on rainy days.

The length is good. My height is 5.8ft. It has not been heavy rain yet. But I expect that this is good for bad weather.

The raincoat is made out of light but durable material. Fit is pretty good. The only problem with it are the buttons. One detached on a first try (see photo). Update: After wearing the raincoat under moderate rain the seams started leaking. It get worse - my shoulders become wet even under light rain. This made the raincoat pretty much useless. Changing my rating to one star. I would not recommend it.
