Flawless. *by M***. on January 28, 2026* Right up front, this is not something you'd want to get for visibility sake on an emergency vehicle. In daylight it will not stand out. At night it will do fine but more than likely you aren't on the list of people allowed to have flashing blue lights on your car anyway. That isn't to say it's useless though. This would be right at home on a DIY pinball setup or any number of other projects. I'm a bit confused by the rated voltage though - the box says 9-80(!!)v. I am assuming that's some sort of item number and would highly recommend against giving this 90 volts DC. The base of the strobe is magnetic however, should you be authorized to install this on your vehicle, you'll be pleased to know it comes with hardware for a more permanent mounting. You should also know the cord for this light is extremely short, be prepared to terminate connectors or solder hook up wire to get this thing wired in. It has exactly one mode: A three flash burst followed by a pause. Simple. While measuring its current use at 12 and 24 volts I did notice its mode speed up as voltage increased. Something to keep in mind I guess. It sips current: 0.3 amps at 24v and 0.6 amps at 12v.
