Exceptional quality so easy to use.
This yarn is one of the best I have used in 30 years of crochet. It is so easy to use it kind of glides and has a lovely sheen just enough to keep it from looking flat. It is consistent with no blemishes or knots. It is soft yet sturdy enough for stuffed toys and novelties as well as clothes and blankets. The colors are beautiful and classy. I didn't have any trouble with splitting unless i pulled it apart several times to rework. I find it very versatile and will continue to buy all colors. Edit: After receiving the Baby Pink to begin a project, I ordered additional to finish but the shade and even the texture is different than the first ones so it was very noticeable. The color name and lot #'s were the same. Disappointing because I loved the first several.

Poor Quality
very poorly woven together, it splits too easily and is finer than advertised.

Lovely, soft, but tends to split.
I chose this yarn in the Sage color, and it's just as expected! The sage is a lovely, medium to dark seafoam green as shown, and it has somewhat of a sheen to the yarn. This yarn is very soft on the hands, doesn't squeak on my tools, and feels very nice to work with. It glides easily across metal tools but isn't slick, and doesn't stick to my varnished wooden knitting needles. This yarn is easy to frog and doesn't stick to itself or knot up, and it doesn't have a fuzzy halo to catch on. This yarn has clear stitch definition that lends itself well to flat and simple fabric stitches or complicated stitch patterns. This yarn does tend to split, especially with knitting needles. The strand isn't tightly wound and when using the end from the outside of the skein as a right-handed crafter, the yarn strand unwinds itself. This could be corrected by putting the skein onto a ball winder to reverse the direction that the strand is worked in, since I couldn't easily find the center pull. The label provides all pertinent information to using this yarn, and the suggested gauge swatch and tools match my tension with both knit and crochet. This yarn is on the pricey side for acrylic yarn, but hopefully the anti-pilling feature will keep this yarn looking great through lots of wear and washings of the finished objects. Overall this yarn is wonderful to work with, the worked fabric feels very nice, it has good drape, and it has sturdy resilience that is great for lightweight blankets and accessories, or small clothing items.

Love this yarn
Presentation: This yarn arrives in a plastic bag and un crushed (no vacuum sealing!). The beautiful sage skein is wrapped with a very helpful label. (I easily found the center pull and was able to begin my next baby blanket. Note: it's labeled as OEKO-TEX Certified so great for baby's sensitive skin! Texture: this yarn is a 100% acrylic blend that boasts to be anti-pilling. It is incredibly soft to the touch and is without that faint plastic-y feel that you sometimes get with "anti-pilling" yarn. It has a slight sheen to it as well. It appears to be fingering weight but the label does not say other than to recommend a 2.5mm hook. Experience/Quality: i selected a size 3mm hook in hopes the skein would last longer. After getting into a groove, I have did have a few issues with splitting but no pilling, shedding, breakage, etc. And due to a little distraction, I can personally attest that it frogs beautifully - no tangles, crimping or breakage. Given the anti-pilling claim I wouldn't expect much less but it was a smooth experience. Additionally, with the OEKO-TEX Certification, you know there was time and thought put into the development of this yarn. Stitch definition was decent but I wouldn't recommend for a beginner due to the size and splitting with this yarn Best Use: this yarn is pretty versatile. Blankets, wearables, and Baby items come to mind first but it would also be lovely in an Amigarumi plush. Quality vs Value: given the amount present and the high quality yarn I would expect a higher pricepoint. Because this yarn came with certifications that cost extra in manufacturing, this is a reasonable value at the asking price. Purchasing when on sale would be prudent but I would still purchase at listing price if necessary. Overall/Recommendations: like I say above, I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend for baby products especially. 5/5.
