Dont buy it, doesnt fit. Make sure you get the exact one that fits your bike, i tried repairing my old one with the parts on the new one after i noticed it didnt fit and they didnt match either.

petcock worked on my YZ250F with a larger fuel tank, however there was no hardware to attach it.I had to go to the local hardware store but not too bad at all!

Went by application and got something different2003 YX450FThe new one was longer so it hung down close to the carburetor. Any vibration or movement of the tank the fuel valve would’ve hit the carburetor. + They original fuel valve had a higher fuel flow then the new one that I purchased from you. So I purchased re-seal o ring kit from the local motorcycle shop and resealed the original fuel petcock my self😊

Take note this fuel valve has both ON and RESERVE functions. So the reserve level pipe has to be removed to make it fit most MX bikes (mine was YZ250 1996). Also discovered the fuel outlet line is oriented side ways vs. straight down on OEM part, so my existing fuel line wouldn't reach...of course I was replacing this part right before a Hare Scramble race, so had to make it work or else I would have returned it.

It was the wrong part in which description said it fit a 99 yz125. I ended up using the gaskets from the kit to make the old one work. Not happy. And to much of a hassle to get it replaced. This is the second part in a row for the same bike where the description guaranteed fitment and didn't.

Just a warning for anyone buying this for a Yamaha yz426f or wr426f, this will not fit properly, fuel line nipple is way to small.

Leaks around screws. Front doesn’t sit flush. Cheaply made. Avoid!
