Power steering swap for 2002 Subaru outback.
I had not used it yet. But it is an oem fit for the Subaru outback. You will need to use the old metal connector tube on this one for the replacement

Fit and corrected leak but a little noisy
The part was exact fit, followed the installation instructions, ( plus I'm an ASE certified Mechanic) but the pump was noise . Operation was fine so we drove it. It's been about 2 months now and either we are used to it or is has quited down

The power steering pump was well receiving meaning the packaging was perfect for the weight, shape, and sharpness of the parts. this is something i have issues on when ordering parts that are shipped. Amazon does not pack for weight so the parts need to be pre packaged for shipment. Installation was a chore being my first time. Make sure you get the correct pulley removal and installation tool and power steering fluid to complete the project. I went ahead and replaced my old tired belts as well The product looks and functions as new. The price was unbeatable given the expedient shipping!

Recientemente instalé esta bomba de dirección en mi vehículo y hasta ahora ha superado mis expectativas. La instalación fue bastante sencilla, con un ajuste perfecto en el sistema original del auto (en mi caso, un [marca y modelo del carro]). Desde el primer arranque, noté una gran diferencia en la suavidad del volante, especialmente al girar a bajas velocidades o al estacionar. El nivel de ruido también es mínimo, lo cual me da confianza en la calidad de los materiales y el ensamblaje. No presenta fugas, y mantiene una presión constante, lo cual es clave para una conducción segura y cómoda.
