Woks but need experience
This fade comb set has some good features, especially for those looking to do quick touch-ups or try simple styles at home. The curved haircutting belt is a creative idea and does help with achieving a basic gradient. The silicone material is flexible and fits well on the head, and the combs feel durable enough for regular use. However, there are a few drawbacks. The belt doesn’t stay in place very well during cutting, which makes it hard to get precise results without help. Also, while the combs work okay for thick hair, the whole set requires a bit of a learning curve—don’t expect professional-level fades right away. Overall, it’s an affordable tool that can save money on haircuts, but the effectiveness really depends on your skill level and patience. Good for beginners, but not a replacement for a real barber.

Just What We Needed
As my husband's barber, I give an overall excellent haircut if I do say so myself. There has just been one nagging telltale sign that he gets his hair cut at home: the line above his ears where the shaved hair fades up into a mop of glorious curls on top. I could never seem to get it looking professional; it always looked something ranging from pretty alright to not my best work. It has been my goal to get the gradient of hair from the base of his neck up to the top where we leave most of his length looking like he went to a professional barber. The angled gradient comb in this kit is perfect for that. You just move it around the middle of the head, from ear to ear, in a straight line and use clippers to shave off the hair that sticks out of the comb. (There are some great YouTube videos demonstrating this.) Highly recommend this kit if you do home haircuts.

Nice set for the patient user
I cut my husband's hair and he is always so particular with where the "2 line" is so I got this to maybe help mark the area and make sure I get it right instead of visually approximating (I am not a barber, just a wife with clippers). I put this blue strap around my husband's head and he was NOT a fan. First, he felt silly putting it on. And, when I used the clippers to cut around the blue strap, it doesn't glide well and I am not sure how even thd cut was since the hair beneath was kind of flattened. Basically we need more practice but my husband's not the patient kind so we ended up not using it and reverted to doing the old occular approximations. He said these tools might be better for someone cutting their hair solo. Ease of use need more practice and it might work well with experience. Quality of all pieces is okay for price and the blue strap did fit around my husband's head so I think it can fit around big heads fine. Sad it didn't work for us.
