Very comfortable right out of the box. This is my 2nd Salomon shoe and they are great. I would definitely say they run a 1/2 size big.

Wow, I love these! First of all, they look fantastic! I love the colors and the design. They look super nice on and they look like top quality (and of course they ARE. Salomon is a top of the line brand). They are very well made with good seams, tread, and all. I am not worried that they will "unglue", unlike some other hiking boots I have owned. The loops holding the laces seem super sturdy and are better than "holes". The top hold for the laces is a very sturdy metal that I doubt will bend, unlike some of my other boots. The front toe is very, very protected. And the tread is thick, strong, and grippy. I also love the loop on the back for help pulling the shoe on. It is well attached and feel secure. And also love that the laces tie well and are not so slippery that they need to be double knotted, unlike some. They fit as expected-I wear size 6.5-7.5 and I ordered a size 7, and they are perfect. I have wide feet, so I was worried and thought about ordering a size up, but these are great on my feet. I also am hesitant to order shoes online since my big toe has a larger knuckle that can be painful in stiff shoes that are too tight or rub wrong. So I was SO surprised at how comfy these were for me. Especially since they are quite stiff, in a good way. They give great support in the ankle and overall due to it, yet still they remain comfortable. I am VERY impressed.

I was so excited to finally order a real pair of hiking boots! Our family hikes regularly, and I've always just worn regular tennis shoes. Let me tell you - what a difference actual hiking boots make! I was a little concerned about sizing because I'd read several reviews saying these run narrow and recommending people size up. I decided to stick with my typical size 8, and I'm so glad I did - they fit perfectly! My feet are regular width, and these boots are neither too wide nor too narrow. They're just right. I have very high arches and find the arch support to be adequate. The quality on these is immediately apparent. They're very solid and clearly built to last. I'm honestly amazed by the sturdiness they provide compared to what I've been wearing. I feel so much more secure on the trail and have to worry much less about slipping, especially on uneven terrain or loose rocks. That confidence alone makes them worth it. They're also surprisingly comfortable to wear anywhere, not just on hikes. And they look great too - I don't feel like I'm sacrificing style for function. Yes, they're pricey. But this is definitely one of those items where you get what you pay for. The construction, support, and performance justify the cost. After experiencing the difference real hiking boots make, I can't imagine going back to tennis shoes on the trail.

I’ve taken these on a few rocky trails now and the stability is impressive. The Quicklace system is a huge convenience. You just pull and go, no tying knots with cold fingers. They were comfortable right out of the box with minimal break-in needed, which is rare for a hiking shoe. I stepped in a shallow creek to test the Gore-Tex and my socks stayed completely dry. The grip on loose gravel is solid, making me feel very secure on steep descents. They're lightweight and don't feel too bulky. The only downside is the ankle and overall foot cushion and support is a little less than other brands I've tried. This can be good or bad depending on your preferences. The size ran a little big for me so I ended up sizing down. I like that these actually look stylish and can be worn out on the town and not just the trail. They're also easy to clean and hold up well to consistent use. They're a great value for the price.

I was excited to get my first pair of hiking boots. I have had hiking shoes, but never hiking boots. The boots look very stylish and are a great color. These are very well made and will clearly last a very long time. The stitching is top notch and the loops for the laces are very sturdy. The toe is very protected and will hold up well against any terrain. They are waterproof and provide great ankle support. I wear a size 9.5 so that is what I ordered. The boots feel great and provide excellent arch support. The only downside is that the toe box is wider than other shoes I own. Since the toe box is wider my feet slide when walking. I will not be able to wear these and I don't think a smaller size would work due to the length. Although these did not work out for me I believe these would be an excellent boot for anyone that can get a good fit.

Die Wanderschuhe der Marke Salomon übertreffen alles was ich bislang an Trekking/Wanderschuhen hatte. Gleich beim ersten Reinschlüpfen merkt man schon, das diese Schuhe etwas können. Sie sind ulta bequem und durch Gore-Tex wasserdicht. In meiner Region ist es leicht bis stark bergig und bei dem jetzigen Matschwetter durch den vielen Regen sind diese Schuhe Gold wert. Die Füße bleiben trocken und durch die stark ausgeprägte Sohle habe ich keine Probleme mal etwas bergisches hochzustiefeln. Der hohe Schaft gibt leicht nach und schützt die Knöchel zuverlässig vor Umknicken. Die Schnürung läßt sich individuell auf meinen Fuß einstellen, gibt auch noch genug Bewegungsfreiheit. Ich war jetzt schon zig mal im Gelände und die Salomon-Schuhe haben nicht enttäuscht... keine Blasen oder sonstiges, wie für meine Füße geschaffen und ich will sie auch nicht mehr missen. Ich bin hochzufrieden und empfehle diese Wanderschuhe gerne weiter.

Ich habe mir diese Wanderschuhe für mich selbst bestellt. Warum sie nur für Damen sein soll verstehe ich nicht. Ich muss sagen, ich bin wirklich begeistert von den Schuhen. Beim ersten anprobieren fühlten sie sich etwas eng an. Das ist aber nichts ungewöhnliches. Neue Schuhe muss man einlaufen. Das habe ich getan und inzwischen liebe ich sie und immer wenn ich irgendwie einen längeren Spaziergang unternehme trage ich sie. Die Qualität ist wirklich umwerfend gut. Sie sind sehr bequem, sie sind Wasserdicht und Schneedicht. Man spürt wirklich die Qualität, die man von Salomon erwartet. Das Design ist schon ziemlich auffällig. Das muss man mögen. Wer eher klassische Leder-Wanderschuhe erwartet, der wird diese vielleicht nicht mögen. Mir gefällt das Design. Von mir gibt es daher 5 von 5 Sternen.

Ich bin mit diesem Schuh wirklich sehr zufrieden. Er sitzt von Anfang an angenehm am Fuß, auch bei längeren Spaziergängen. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Gore-Tex-Membran, durch die der Schuh wasserdicht ist und die Füße auch bei nassem Gras oder Regen trocken bleiben. Gleichzeitig ist er aber nicht zu warm, sodass er sich perfekt als Übergangsschuh für Frühling und Herbst eignet. Ich nutze ihn vor allem zum Gassi gehen mit dem Hund und dafür ist er ideal – bequem, leicht und zuverlässig bei jedem Wetter. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Schuh für den Alltag und Spaziergänge.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Die Salomon X Ultra Flare MID Gore-Tex wasserdichte Wanderschuhe für Damen bestehen aus dem typischen Gore-Tex Stoff, einer robusten Gummisohle und sind sehr gut verarbeitet. Die Schuhe sind bis leicht über die Knöchel hoch und lassen sich bis dahin verschnüren. Sie passen wie erwartet, sitzen super bequem und sicher am Fuß, was ein Abknicken in unebenem Gelände verhindern sollte. Auch optisch überzeugen die Schuhe durch ein ansprechendes Design, wobei hier natürlich die Funktionalität im Vordergrund steht. Auch die Wasserdichtigkeit ist praktisch, wenn man viel abseits von Straßen unterwegs ist. Insgesamt natürlich nicht ganz günstig, aber qualitativ sehr gut. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Salomon hat auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht: Die volle Punktzahl ist mehr als verdient. Von der durchdachten Materialzusammensetzung über die einwandfreie Verarbeitung bis zur Passform und dem Tragekomfort - der Wanderschuh lässt keine Wünsche offen. Zunächst sind die Schuhe trotz der stabilen Sohle und der Gummianteile überraschend leicht. Das An- und Ausziehen geht leicht, nicht zuletzt dank der Schlaufe hinten. Auch nach mehreren Stunden sind die Wanderschuhe bequem und sitzen perfekt. Die Sohle gibt Halt auch auf steinigem oder rutschigem Terrain: Gebirge, nasses Laub, die eine oder andere Pfütze - der Fuß bleibt trocken und der Rücken wird geschont. Wenn man wie wir täglich viele Kilometer in der Natur unterwegs ist, weiß man gutes Schuhwerk zu schätzen und greift gerne tiefer in die Tasche.
