Solid stainless and well built!
Anyone who does a lot painting knows about the pain in trying to clean your brushes. This applies to both water based or oil based paints. This was an interesting product that made life just a little bit easier. The overall contruction was well within what I would expect for the price point. Using water I did do a spill test several times to see if there was any leakage. I did discover that some liquids can escape from the sealed lid however, it was very minimal and easy to deal with. Much better result than the entire contents falling on the floor or spilling out in a vehicle. The internal screen etc within the unit did a great job separteing the solids from the water and allowing a longer time between water changing as well as a great surface to properly clean the brush. I would call this a descent value for what you are getting. I may actually purchase the larger model after seeing how well this one worked. I have no problem giving 5 stars when looking at the value you get for the price.

Wonderful Little Jar
This has been so nice to use! I didn't know what I was missing out on tbh. Amazon says I should touch on the following details: Durability: Don't swing it around and bang it against the walls and it will be fine??? It's stainless steel. That's kinda hard to ruin unless you purposefully do so. The lid and all the parts work fine. Stability: even though it has a round bottom, I have not spilled it. Cleaning performance: GREAT! I'm not losing half my paint to towel anymore!! Value: Surprisingly worthwhile! Sometimes those little steel jars can be absurdly expensive but this was quite reasonably priced to me! Bonus: You are way less likely to confuse this with your coffee cup due to the shape, material, and lid.

Very cool paintbrush cleaning jar
I am historically a watercolor painter, but over the past year I have gotten into oil painting as well. A container that separates the paint from the mineral spirits, and also is sealable is a great product! This one is nicely designed and well constructed. The lid seals onto the cup itself with a gasket and clips that go around the top. There’s a nice carrying handle and the interior has a strainer style cup that sits inside it so the paint particles settle out of the main area where you’re rinsing your brush. My only somewhat minor complaint is that I ordered the XL size and it isn’t huge. For very large brushes it would be a struggle. With the strainer inside, there’s also not a lot of “swishing” room and it takes the depth of the container down by quite a bit. That said, if you do not use very large brushes, this is a perfect paintbrush cleaning jar. It’s very sturdy and has not leaked on me! The metal is nice and thick. I didn’t want to fill it with mineral spirits right off the bat until I was sure of the potential for leaks, so I filled with water to start. As a result I am currently using it to rinse watercolor brushes and it is PERFECT for all sizes of those! I think it’ll be great for oil painting as long as the brushes someone uses aren’t too wide or long. One more thing to note is that this had a bit of a bizarre smell until I washed it with dish soap. I’m not sure if that was just mine or what but the dish soap took every bit of smell away, so if you find yours has a bit of a smell, a wash should rectify that!

Heavy stainless steel won't deteriorate over time holding harsh chemicals.
Wow this was a great value! I ordered it because the first one i purchased (from another site) came in and was so small. Not reasonable at all for studio uses. I ended up making it a water value for my travel watercolors. But I needed a pot for my mineral spirits and cleaning my brushes from oil paints. I was surprised that it was so large. Very heavy, tight seal and internal disk to scrub brushes against. The paint particles settle to the bottomunder the disk, so that you are always using clean clear spirits. The little handle allows you to hang it from your easel, or anywhere really. It made of a heavy grade stainless steel that gives me a lot of piece of mind that it can hold strong chemicals without deterioration. Fantastic pot, i highly recommend.

KEEP A LID ON IT
How I’ve never utilized a paint brush washer like this for is shocking. The leak proof container also locks in odors from turpentines or mineral spirts. The filter inside is good for removing excess or unwanted paint from brushes. This stainless steel container will last for ever if cared and cleaned periodically. It’s a great value for any studio or easel if you’re painting with oils, though I imagine it’s also useful with other paints. It’s really an upgrade worth having I can’t highly recommend this enough.

Perfect Compact Brush Washer
As an artist who spends most of my time painting, this compact paint washer can is perfect for small spaces and on-the-go sessions with watercolor, acrylic, or oil. I bought the small one, and here's what I love: ♥ Holds over 5 oz of solvent or water. Comfortably use 4 oz with no mess or spills. ♥ Sits well on my easel without tipping. ♥ Filter grid is soft on the inside and a little rougher underneath, getting brushes clean but not harming them. ♥ Filters paint easily for clean rinses every time. ♥ Does NOT leak! ♥ Super portable for travel. Great value for daily studio or plein air use across all my media. Highly recommend for fellow artists
