Really useful replacement backplate, especially if you have bought a used AM4 motherboard and it came without the original mounting hardware. This happens quite often with second-hand boards, so having a cheap way to replace the missing backplate is super useful The plates feel solid and well made, and the metal construction is much better than some of the flimsy plastic universal adapters you sometimes see. They fitted as expected on an AM4 board and gave the cooler mounting hardware something secure to screw into, which is exactly what I needed. So far seem to be compatible on any AM4 boards so super versatile. They also look really clean so no worries in terms of appearance. Just make sure you know what you are buying, as this is the backplate only. It does not include the top brackets or screws, so you will need those separately if your board is missing everything. If you only need the rear plate though, this does the job perfectly. Overall, this is a very good cheap replacement part for AM4 builds, repairs or refurb projects. It solves a simple but annoying problem and is well worth having around if you often work with used motherboards.

Coming with little to no frill these are exactly whats needed and do the job perfectly for AM4 systems. Refurbing some older builds i needed some backplates that werent those awful unreliable plastic adaptors designed for as many system compatibilities as possible. Solid, all metal with a plastic sheet to stop any short circuiting they slot in and are solid no matter the mounting option on the otherside whether it was aio or air cooling. To get two for this price has been great value for money.
