It may shatter but it's simply for a single small LED, we don't turn it on anymore. We were looking forward to having a toy for dark hours in the backyard. My son said it would be cooler if there were more LED'S or if they were colored or flashed or something. Other than that, the product is great so far, lots of outside hours with the kids.
