Arc'teryx Men's Beta Jacket

AWESOME Jacket!!1

I love the lightness and waterproofness of this jacket. I wear it in the city, while trekking, in golfing etc… Depending on the weather I wear different kind of layers inside. Not cheap but worth it!

Great looking jacket! Fits great, true to size, the sleeves are a bit too large , but the quality is great

It's a decent jacket, but it is way way slim, the chest is not true to size it's more like an inch or two down, by common standards of the size, and around the waist it's for someone with a like negative girth. Which is a problem even if you were that size, because if you needed to wear a parka under it, as in real circumstances, you absolutely couldn't, not comfortably by most sizes. In other words it's stand alone and it's for a model body shape. And I am not going through the process of returns in waiting weeks for something I already spent time waiting for, not to mention having to disregard the price I paid now that it's risen. Of course they don't tell you any of this, nor does Amazon as they should. Frankly I don't mean to sound crabby, and individually not that it's the most super expensive jacket, but for the name, the name Arc'teryx, the best of the best so they say, I'm very disappointed with lack to attention and care to user. I'd almost demand a free one with that lack of care, just very disappointing.

For the price point, I was rather disappointed. The shell gets very wrinkly and is quite loud with regular movement.

Presentation was horrible - jacket was unzipped, incredibly wrinkly and clearly worn. Unacceptable for the amount of money spent, especially for gift giving.

I’ve always thought Arc’teryx to be overpriced and not a good value so this is my first Arc’teryx purchase. Turns out, I was right (IMO) the first time. I compared this to my $179 Torrentshell and it was really close, but the Torrentshell is less than half the price. The Arc’teryx is light, but is thin, crackly and certainly not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Right fit,excellent shell jacket; Waterproof and combined with layers it holds for all conditions around 0 C. I don't like down insulated jackets since they get too warm from walking/hiking so this jacket is perfect to keep you comfortable and dry.
