They thread onto standard M8 bar stock easily with no play or slop, I tried one of them and found the nylon locking feature to griped the bolt very well but not too tightly that the nylon deforms too much. In all I would say that these locking nuts have been through stringent quality control to ensure uniformity and as they are made from stainless steel they have the added benefit of a degree of rust resistance.
