Probably best heater around
I am from the late 70s and bought it for its looks. It gives out plenty of heat. Way better than a fan heater and feels so much better!

Not the most study base - includes 2023 cost of using heater
The three bulbs (3x400w) give out plenty of heat which is more or less instant. Each of the three bars has its own button on top of the heater which allows you to choose how many to have on.As mentioned, it does give out plenty of heat which makes it suitable for a medium sized room. The only downside is the amount of light it gives out. Given you need to be in front of it to receive the most heat you can’t for instance have it in front of you to watch tv because you’ll be more blinded by the heater. For me this isn’t much of an issue because mine is permanently placed under my work desk to keep my feet lovely and warm, something it does extremely well on just one bar.The heating part can be set to turn automatically to disperse the heat around a room. Button for this is on the top of the heater with all the others. Unit oscillates quite well and is completely silent in operation.Heater does NOT come with any replacement bulbs. I purchased a box of three replacement bulbs for £7 which haven’t yet been needed.Cable is not really long enough at just 4ft (122cm). With that said I would not recommend putting this on an extension lead unless it is one which is fully unwound as the cable would quickly overheat.Stand is not topple resistant but does have a simple tilt mechanism underneath which will cut the power to the heater should it be tilted. The tilt mechanism can prevent the heater from working if placed on a thick pile carpet. This can easily be solved by placing something solid under the base. Base doesn’t get hot so even a thick piece of cardboard will do.RUNNING COST:Thought I would do a rough guide for those wanting to know how much it costs to use. Assumes your provider charges @27p per kwh, which is the government’s current 2023 winter energy price cap.400 (1 bar) = 11p per hour800 (2 bars) = 22p per hour1200 (3 bars) = 32p per hourPOSITIVE THINGS:• Light weight• Variable heat settings• Anti-tilt switch• Instant heat• Bulbs can be replacedNOT SO POSITIVE• Very bright light• Not tilt resistant

Lovely little fire
In an era when fire manufacturers seem to be more interested in looks rather than performance, it's refreshing to come across this little fire that does more than the bigger, expensive ones.Very much following on the design of the 2-bar fires that were popular in previous decades, this one has a number of modern advantages. To start with, it has a proper solid electric cable ; the older fires had a cable that was similar to ones used on irons & would fray over time.Other advantages are an easier rotary heat switch (the old rocker switches were very stiff), it doesn't hammer the electric as much & a superb anti-tipover safety feature. It may not look fancy, but this little fire delivers more than you would expect from it. Very highly recommended

Excellent
I used to have one of these years ago and could not find them no where untill I stumbled upon it on here I bought and it’s excellent. There is a safety setting if it lifts off the floor it automatically turns off which is very good in my eyes safety wise. So far 4 family members have took my recommendation and purchased from here also, as they have seen mine in use. The heat is quite good from this heater. Unlike fan heaters which leave out fake heat I find this heater keeps the room warmer for longer. I highly recommend

Works fine but technically unusable
The good- A nice powerful heater which in theory deserves 5 stars. The bad- I ordered the Warmlite heater but received the Daewoo one. Very similar but not identical. If you use an electrical appliance in a way that goes against the manufacturer's instructions and your house burns down it's going to void your home insurance. Following the advice for this heater means it's completely unusable in my home. Firstly you must not use an extension lead but more importantly it cannot be used on any soft floor covering like carpet or any flammable covering like wood. That only leaves my bathroom but it states "Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool". So maybe I can just use it on my shed or garage which both have concrete floors? Nope, It must not be used in garages, stables or wooden sheds either. The only place I think this could be used is a castle with a stone floor.

Great heater
So far so good from this super lightweight heater. Been after a two bar electric heater for a while as I couldn’t seem to find one like this elsewhere. Good price point and swift delivery. Can’t complain at all about the service or product.

It is safe, reliable, easy to use and carry around from room to room..
I wouldn't buy any other. I bought two when I was caring for my disabled mother. It went where she went, room to room. In a few minutes of plugging it in, the warm radiating heat, gently disperses around the room. Not stifling heat, just radiating comfortable heat. For me, one bar is enough to warm a modest sized sitting room...
