Worked perfect for running the of the ethernet from the main house to the barndominium my folks are building. We are DYIiers and I'm their tech support.

This review is for “Electrical Junction Box IP65 Dustproof Waterproof ABS Plastic Project Enclosure for Electronics 3.9 x 3.9 x 2.8 inch(100 x 100 x 70 mm)” at $8.99 I got this ip65 junction box in order to install an outlet in a crawl space. I am not 100% certain I need a waterproof box for this application, but I figure better safe than sorry. This box is made of ABS plastic, which wouldn’t be great fully exposed outdoors, but this is fine in a dark and dry crawlspace. I was surprised to discover that the knockouts are made with soft plastic rather than the same rigid material, and as a result they can be trimmed to various sizes. Important to note: the grommets do not seal fully on their own, so you will need to use some sort of sealant to ensure waterproofness if that is your use case. You must drill your own mounting points, which eliminates any extra holes you would need to seal. All in all, a suitable box for my needs. Deducting 1 star for the requirement that you seal the grommets, thus the box is not 100% waterproof unless you do some extra work.

The box had everything I needed to tuck away some unused electric wires. Easy to install.

This is a great size for where multiple wires enter my garage. It has plenty of holes, so will give me some flexibility to route the wires in an organized way. I’ll add some sealant when I run the wires to be sure everything stays clean & dry, as is needed with most waterproof boxes. Should be easy to install and should look great in my freshly painted garage.

Used in a tough weather condition exterior location. Checked inside after a month and some rain... dry as a bone. Not much more to review... works as you'd hope and is a great value for the money as compared to the big box stores. Sturdy, stays weatherproof and, well, thats about all you can say about an electrical box. Thank you for a great product, well recommended

Some things I like. The main seal seems good. Plenty of holes to run cables. Included hardware is ok. What I don’t particularly like is the hole cover seals just kind of sit on the holes not very tight. I definitely do not consider this water proof and personally will only use in a covered area. If you need a box that is easy to work with and doesn’t need to be weatherproof this might be a good option.

I got this for projects. It seals nicely so it should be water proof. It feels sturdy and well-made. The screws are good enough, and it does the job. I think it's a decent little box for the price, and it should last for a while.
