Unlike the silicone one I was using, this traps the fob entirely and doesn’t make me feel like it’ll fall out any second, and all of the features of the fob are still as useable as before. Having the fob in a sturdy container that attaches to my key ring is all I wanted, but this looks cool and is highly functional. I do wish that the button screw that holds the leather to the keyring felt a little more solid, but I may just put some thread locker in the screw and call it a day. Great piece of mind for $10. Replacing a fob isn’t cheap (and you have to go to the dealer for it, unlike other cars where you do some magic from the driver’s seat and you’re done in 2 minutes)

The main reason I wanted this is when I have the key in my pocket and lean into the trunk, I hit the close everything button and the trunk hits me in the head. It is much better quality than I expected based on other reviews. I didn't plan on using the leather strap, thinking it was going to be cheap and easy to break, but it is thick. Came with small screwdriver, sticky padding (to keep key from getting scratched?), and screws with locktite already applied. I didn't use the padding. This is the third keychain I have tried, and the first one that actually keeps me from accidentally pushing the buttons when the key is in my pocket.

Fits nicely around the MX key fob. GREAT protection. Makes the fob just a little larger, but worth it for the protection. Also ... given the brightness of the cover ... you have NO reason to misplace or lose it!!

Good product. Came with small screwdriver to assemble. Only downside is the shiny key ring was too fat to pass through several of my keys. Made do with an old ring.

Was a little tricky to assemble with tiny screws. Link to hold leather strap broke and also leather bolt fell off.

This fob is very well made and is assembled with two tiny but quite substantial screws. Tiny pads were included in case your car key is loose in some area of the fob. I found no need to use these pads as the fob fit mine perfectly. My only suggestion would be to improve the thin leather loop tether. It seems fragile, but then it hasn't broke in 6 months of use. Highly recommend!
