M Is For Mitten: A Michigan Alphabet (Discover America State by State)

This is a beautiful book! It is well written and illustrated! I bought it for a summer family camping trip “up north” in Michigan! A trip to Mackinaw Island was planned and for several of the kids it would be their first time seeing the Mackinaw Bridge! I though reading the book to them prior to our trip would be a neat way to build anticipation and interest! It was a hit with the kids as well as the adults (8 generations)! It will certainly be one of my “go to gifts” for future baby showers and birthdays!

Bought this as a baby shower gift for some Michigander family. I highly recommend it!!!! Beautiful illustrations. Little ones and adults alike will enjoy this book!!

Great children’s book for state of Michigan fans. While I was not there when the parents read it, I was told there young child loved it and it will be read many more times.

I think this was a great book! I saw it at the bookstore and decided to order it for my 8 year old to do his letter to his teacher of Michigan Facts! He was immediately turned off at first because he thought it was baby-ish with the abc's. After getting him to actually look at the facts that were part of each page, he began to see that this was a book that even adults could enjoy while learning from. My son read and read to the point that he would hurry up with all other work so he could get to this book and get more info about Michigan. He was even driven to write his letter on his on and pick his 5 facts independently!

I loved this book! My kids know the alphabet but I really just wanted it because it reminded me of home ❤️

Great quality book! Fun colorful pictures and learn about Michigan at the same time! Great for kids and adults alike! I purchased these for my grandkids for Christmas ages 4-11. They all loved the book.

Not just for kindergarten students or first graders. All students will enjoy this book! Colorful, and brings out many aspects of Michigan. I shared this book with over 80 homeschoolers while visiting my daughter who lives in Colorado.

Great book for the grandkids but with enough detail to be enjoyable for the adult reading it to the kids. The Illustrations are superb and the organization makes it easy to adapt to the little ones or add detail for the older ones. A must have for Michiganiaphiles.
