Excellent, better than K2 which I also have because it provides accurate numbers versus ranges
I have had the original K2 meter for years and the problem with it is only registers 1.5 and below so you have no idea if your home is safe because the cutoff is .5 for safety.I love this one because it is accurate. For all those people who say it keep changing numbers this is NORMAL when up against a high output as energy is never stable and fluctuates. This is common sense...and the numbers change rapidly with each movement forward or changing direction when its a HIGH source.Otherwise it registers stable.I now have the comfort of knowing I have 0 levels throughout my home in an area with many huge power lines. This gives me peace and comfort and this is bargain.

Great Meter for the Price!
According to the EPA and other government agencies:"Despite extensive research over the past 20 years, the health risk caused by EMF expo- sure remains an open question. Two national research organizations (the National Re- search Council and the National Institute of Health) have looked at the studies and have concluded that there is not strong evidence that EMF exposures pose a health risk. How- ever, some studies have shown an association between household EMF exposure and a small increased risk of childhood leukemia at average exposures above 3 mG. For can- cers other than childhood leukemia, there is less evidence for an effect."This meter does not detect low levels and is not sensitive enough to really detect small electromagnetic fields. However, it will detect fields large enough to register within EPA standards. It is accurate between .5 and 100 milliguauss. Anything less than that, I wouldn't trust it.It works good to test for large fields in your home. It's built prett well. I would recommend it for simple uses around the house.

Useless
I bought to check to see if my microwave was leaking because my Wi-Fi slows down when the microwave is on. I tried it and it did register but the readings bounced around a fair amount. So I took it to work to compare it to an expensive EMF meter and it was no where close. My advice is not to purchase these as there are useless.

Three Stars
Only works if you have the device really close to the source.

Build heavy good for daily use.
The meter does what it should, a great way to test is finding and electric motor like a fan,as the motors do not always have capacitors allowing a small electrical field to exist .I could actually pick up the fan across the room.Very heavy solid plastic easy read out and can be attached to a wall if needed. For the price this is great how accurate is hard to tell asI am doing general readings not accurate ones but the sensor seems sensitive.

Meter seems to be affected by motion. If I ...
Meter seems to be affected by motion. If I move it around it spikes, if I put it in the breeze from a fan, it affects the meter; I am quite skeptical to trust the accurate measurement of EMFs due to this observation.

Check Your Clocks!
OK, this is obviously not a professional meter. But for the price it is very handy in determining dangerous levels of EMF. I have been more than pleased with performance, if alarmed at findings. We immediately moved our digital alarm clocks off the headboard as they were almost as dirty as the microwave! My sleuthing has uncovered many other dangerous areas that we limit exposure to now that we have a simple and reliable method of determining EMF's. Two notes of caution: The unit reads higher while in movement. Also, remember to turn it off. For future reference, they might improve the product with an "auto-off" feature for us forgetful types...

Good meter for personal use, probably not for the professional
I got this to experiment with, mostly. I have hung 6 clocks in the same place over 10 years, and every time, within a year, the clock quits working. I thought maybe there was EMF damaging them. The spot did register a reading, but it was minimal. So I tried it on lots of stuff, my phone, computer, microwave, TV, pretty much everything electrical. Some of the things surprised me as to how high or low they were.I don't have any EMF meter experience to compare this to, but it seems to work well. Nothing fancy. I give it 4* because it seems like you have to hold the meter right against things to get a reading, when I know EMF eminates further than that.Would recommend to someone looking for a "toy" but probably not high enough quality for any kind of professional use.
