A bargin
This is very sturdy and good . Once lined up properly , it can be used any where and will always work . The best thing about it is if its a door , it will auto close if activated once it detects the door is back due to the magnet positioning themselves correctly

Pretty darn good with caution.
This is a good little lock with just one small issue. The issue is the power with which the small bolt comes out. If you have everything lined up perfectly then you will have no issue. However if the door you are fitting it to, has any movement on its own latch when closed. Meaning the door could be in a slightly different position each time it is closed, then the alignment of the bolt and hole on this unit may not align. The bolt has no chamfer on the leading edge to guide it into slightly misaligned hole. Therefore it won't engage. I fitted this to a door which has a metal frame and is panelled inside with wood (my own creation) but like most doors when shut if you push and pull the door there was maybe 3mm of movement. This is enough for this unit to push the bolt out but not go into the hole on the opposite part of the unit, thus not locking the door even though the green "locked" indicator lights up. To get around this, I was able to attach a magnet I had, to the metal frame of the door ensuring the door was in exactly the same closed position every time. Obviously this wouldn't be possible on a wooden door. So before buying this. I would just see how much play your door has in it when closed. Be prepared to have to play about and adjust your normal catch to eliminate any movement if you are going to install this lock. As a side note for my installation I purchased a 12v power supply (looks rather like a phone charger) and a 12v led indicator, I wired these directly to the lock using the red and black wire. (The yellow and white wire were not needed) I then plugged this into a spare remote control socket I had and hey presto I can lock the door without crossing the yard which is where my door is located or more honestly... The wife doesn't have to cross the yard in her dressing gown to lock up at night when I'm at work. The reason for the additional led indicator light? This lock has a light on the unit itself to show when locked, but what if like me you are on the opposite side of the door to the lock? So I positioned the led where it can be seen from the house. If you wanted to and you had an Alexa enabled plug/socket, you could use Alexa to power it on and off (lock/open) rather than using the remote that I have set up. I have Alexa so this maybe something I do in the future but for now unlocking in a morning and locking at night. I'm happy with the remote switch. Once locked it does appear it would take a lot of pressure to break it open. Remember this lock will unlock in the event of a power failure for safety reasons. So if you are going on holiday or are wanting to protect something very valuable then I would suggest using a normal lock in conjunction with this lock .

Good for a cupboard
Wasn’t suitable for what I was after, but I’m sure that’d be perfectly fine for a lighter project.

Nice lock
Personally I don’t think it’s suitable for commercial applications as it failed after less then 4 months m but in a low use environment it will be fine

Good lock
I just bought it, so, I didn't install it yet but, I checked it and it works fine. I am going to use it for an inside door. The lock came nicely packed, there are 4 wires coming out of it, 2 for power supply and 2(yellow and white) that I don't know what they are for. When tested I didn't use the white and yellow and it worked fine. I hope to find out what they are for and update my review.
