Bargain camping annex
For the price this is a very good shelter/gazebo-type thing. The way it's designed it's not so much a shelter from the rain/sun - although it does provide some protection - it's more for keeping the bugs away. As such it would make an ideal camp kitchen/dining room. My obvious point of reference for a product like this is a Coleman event shelter, which I have used several times in the past. This is much more cost-effective alternative, although because of the tapered sides (the roof is smaller than the floor area) it is less of a shelter from the weather. It's a fraction of the cost of the Coleman product and it comes with a side wall included (these are optional extras for the Coleman shelter). The side wall provides some screening from the wind/sun but you only get one of them and it doesn't appear to be possible to buy extras in case you wanted to screen off two sides of the tent. There is no groundsheet but that is to be expected with a product of this type. Assembly is pretty straightforward as long as you do things in the correct order. Putting it up is a lot easier if you have at least two people doing it, but you might be able to manage it single-handedly if there is no wind. The whole thing packs away quite easily into the provided bag. The bag is of average quality. As long as you're not rough with it it should be fine. For a tent of this size it's not that heavy, although you obviously wouldn't want to be carrying it a long way. All in all this is a very satisfactory product. The quality is decent and you won't find better at this price.

A spacious, bug‑free outdoor shelter that’s great value for the size
This Amazon Basics screened canopy tent turned out to be a really solid bit of kit for the price. The footprint is huge - plenty of room for a table and chairs, or a few people standing comfortably - and the full mesh enclosure is brilliant for keeping midges, flies and wasps out while still letting the breeze through. It’s ideal as a camp kitchen, a dining area, or just a shaded “extra room” in the garden. Setup is fairly straightforward as long as you follow the order in the instructions. It’s definitely easier with two people, especially if there’s any wind, but once it’s up the frame feels stable and secure. The included stakes help anchor it, and the structure doesn’t wobble or feel flimsy. The tapered design means it’s not a full weather shelter - it’s more about shade and bug protection than heavy rain - but that’s exactly what it’s designed for. The single included shade panel is useful for blocking sun or wind on one side, though it’s a shame you can’t buy extras to fully enclose more sides. There’s no groundsheet, but that’s normal for this type of screened gazebo. Packed away, it’s about what you’d expect for something this size: not ultralight, but manageable for short walks from the car. The carry bag is decent enough as long as you’re not rough with it. Overall, it’s a very good value alternative to the more expensive event shelters on the market. If you want a large, airy, bug‑proof space for camping, garden gatherings or beach days without spending a fortune, this is a genuinely solid option.

generous size
Generous size gives plenty of covered space for chairs, a table, or even a small gathering, while the screened sides are brilliant for keeping insects away without blocking the breeze. Sturdy frame feels stable once set up and the canopy provides welcome shade during sunny afternoons. Assembly was easier than expected and everything fits together neatly.

Spacious and Secure Shelter for Enjoying the Outdoors Without the Bugs
I found this screened canopy tent to be a fantastic solution for my garden gatherings, providing a massive 366cm x 366cm footprint that easily accommodated my full patio dining set. The height is particularly impressive; at 234cm, I never felt cramped, and even my taller friends could move around freely without ducking. Setting up the steel frame was more intuitive than I expected, and the grey and orange colour scheme gives it a modern, high-visibility look that stood out nicely against the lawn without being an eyesore. The mesh screening is the real highlight for me, as it allowed a lovely breeze to flow through while keeping midges and wasps completely at bay during my afternoon tea. I was pleased to find that the zips on the doors are sturdy and don't snag, which is often a frustration with larger tents. Even when the wind picked up slightly, the structure felt planted and secure once I had the guy lines tensioned. It has transformed my outdoor space into a much more usable "extra room" where I can relax comfortably regardless of the local insect population.

Well made and priced utility canopy
I have pictured this in its original bag next to a medium sized labradorite dog to give an idea of the size - Essentially you will need to carry this in a car boot and due to size and weight the range from the car will be limited to short trips down to a nearby beach or the like, anything over about half a mile would be pretty hard work. The shelter itself is pretty easy to put up and does not take too long. When erected it is nicely stable and I suspect when it is tied down properly should resist some strong winds. To my mind due to the open nature of the shelter I do not think it is suitable for overnight camping in anything but the most benign of conditions. Overall I think this is a solid shelter at a good price point.
