Despite showing her the recommended video, she was not able to figure out how it went together. As she wanted to assemble the kite herself, I had to help her problem solve the assembly. I liked that the string came with the fastener already attached to the kite string, which was wound on a good handle. I would recommend this kite for anyone to enjoy but don’t expect it to be assembled simply or quickly by just anyone. It went up easily. It was nicely balanced. It's aesthetically pleasing. It was affordable. It was on-time.CONS: Assembly directions would have been nice. It was kind of hard to put together, as in, it actually took some physical strength to get the middle stick in. The side sticks were made of 2 sticks that are joined by a coupler that isn't snug enough, so when I flew for an extended period of time, they separated and the bottom half of the sticks fell out of the kite. I don't know where they landed, hopefully not on somebody. The kite still flew just fine without the bottom halves of the sticks, so I can't really complain about.
