I'm a professional dog groomer, and have been using a dremel for dog nails for many many years. I used to buy the cordless dremel brand, and would have to buy a new one every 6 months. Even from new out of the package, the thing had to be charged daily. I had a friend and fellow groomer reccomend this brand, and turns out it's 10 or 15 dollars cheaper. It has a nifty light on the dremel end, holds a charge like no other. I groom at a minimum 10 dogs a day and dremel all nails and walk in nail trims. I charge my dremel once a week max. The only problem I have, I started talking about it on my local grooming group, and then our country wide grooming groups, and since then, Walmart has been out of stock and Amazon was out of stock for awhile. I went to buy one for my apprentice for her birthday last week, and found this one on Amazon and she loves it as much as I do. It fits the hand perfectly, doesn't hurt my arthritis hand at all. I had mentioned buying a new dremel brand every 6 months, and alot of other groomers were complaining of the same issue. My first of this brand lasted me almost 3 years. It probably would have lasted longer, but it suffered multiple falls onto hard tile flooring. I got a new one awhile back and will never get another brand.

The process of changing bits takes more time and part changes to use the different tools. The item works well but takes too much time to switch out the tips. Also I don’t know what all the tools are for! I wish a paper was included to explain what everything is for!!!!!

I am a professional dog groomer and i use these as nail grinders for dogs nails. My grinders are turned on and off at least 20 times a day. The model I received (its different that the one in the listing picture but works the same so I wasn't bothered) has a button on it to turn it on and off and the mechanism that makes the button work has not kept up with the usage. My co worker bought one at the same time and theirs has started to do the same thing. It won't turn on or off unless you hit the button just right. Which means you hit it about 20 times to get it going. As you can imagine that's really inconvenient when you are trying to work with a living animal that has no concept of danger or personal space. I really like this grinder compared to every other grinder that I have used. The price ($50 when I bought it) was worth it but it's lifespan was not nearly eanough to justify that cost. Untill they change the button I would not recommend this to anyone that needs it turn off quickly.
