Three times broken
Got three rods in and all three broken tip I own many ugly styks and love them this was done from improper packaging period

Damaged Product
Got the first rod with 3 guilds are broken. Replace 2 times and they finally give me a good one. The product is amazing, absolutely worth for its price, but you really need some luck to have them deliver an intact one to you.

Brittle, quality issues. Might be a decent value if you get it on sale.
Got two combos, both rods had the tip broken. Rod tip is just steel, it does not have a ceramic insert. Reel body is metal but that adds to the weight. Medium light feels pretty stiff for the ice rod. One of the two reels had an intermitting scraping/friction sound when turning. Probably ok value for 30 bucks, if you get lucky.
