Great Book!
I read a couple of these types of books to my 4 year-old son every night. This one was a little bit longer of a read than the others at this level but was very interesting and entertaining to him still. The books he enjoys the most are usually the Star Wars or Superhero Squad types, he hasn't been too interested at all in the other "real" topics. As I read it to him I threw in a little bit extra about the space shuttle and he asked questions about different things. This was a very educational book for him, which was a huge bonus because it was also one of the books he has been most interested in.

Very dated, shuttle era
Despite the Amazon listing, this book lists copyright dates as 2000 and 2017. It appears to contain all original 2000-era information. That’s space shuttle, no mention of the ISS at all. It tells (in present tense, which is odd since there’s no more shuttle program) the story of an astronaut named Linda, whose shuttle mission is to repair a telescope. (Probably a fictionalized Hubble.)There are other easy reader space books with up to date content. This isn’t one of them.

Doesn't translate well to Kindle
I was looking for a book about space and astronauts for my 3-year-old. From a content perspective, this is a bit above his head, but I was really glad that it showed a female astronaut and that it was non-fiction. The issue I have with it is that there are many pictures and graphics that spread across two pages and that's not how it displayed on my Kindle (for ipad). This made it a little challenging for my son.Still, it was a good book and would still be good for kids who are actually trying to read it (as opposed to it being read to them). I just think it would be best in actual book form.

Great Book For Future Space Travelers!
This is a nice story that people of all ages can get into. Of course, it is directed towards children, but parents will enjoy reading it with their kids. If your child wants to be a space traveler, then check out this book!

Good for future astronauts
If you're raising a mission-to-Mars-ready child, or lusting after that Elvis-haired engineer like I am, then this is a good entry-level book that even explains toilets out in space. The main character is Linda, who is sometimes illustrated and sometimes, you know, shown using stock astronaut photography. Interestingly, I was more bothered than the children by shots in which Linda seemed to be sporting dark hair and a mustache while on a space walk. Perhaps it's a little-known effect of zero gravity?

Fun and informative read.
Great little book, I purchased for my granddaughter who is in kindergarten, but who loves everything about space. Very informative...a little above her reading level, but we enjoyed reading it together.

Fabulous little space book!
Our toddler is fascinated with space and this is better than advertised to explain what an astronaut is! You can turn on NASA TV but having this little L2 reader is a great resource guide. Perfect for age appropriate information.

JUST LIKE STAR WARS
Our grandson loves the book and it's great new words for him to learn. Wanted him to realize that there is a realistic side to space, not just the fiction "Star Wars" which he loves.

ok
A good book for the age. It will only get read once or twice though, better off borrowing books like this from the library or school

Great book for 5year old
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter as she was very interested in astronauts and it was perfect for her age in explaining the basics of space travel and how the astronauts deal with eating toilet etc. We love it.
