This is a great-quality welding helmet. My son is a freshman in college, and it’s perfect for his first one well made, reliable, and exactly what he needed to get started.

It’s a great looking hood but poor design the lens clarity is great but I’ve only had it 2 months and now it won’t auto darken I changed the batteries and still not working how it should and the design for holding the clear outside lens in sucks. Over all not happy with this product by Jackson very poor quality the only good it’s going to do me is sit on the wall in the garage do t make the same mistake I made by purchasing this hood

Amazing look you will get compliments but this helmet is only good for stick welding from what I’ve used so far. You’re NOT able to grind or use the torch when having this helmet on you will need to switch helmets which is NOT reliable especially when you work in the field you want a helmet that you can use for all functions. Get dirty pretty fast and it annoys me to keep stopping and cleaning the outside lens.
