Kwikset Juno Entry Door Knob with Lock and Key, Secure Keyed Handle Exterior, Front Entrance and Bedroom, Antique Brass, Pick Resistant SmartKey Rekey Security and Microban

I bought this door knob, and a couple others and a dead bolt, so that I could key them all to the same key. Changing them all to the same key was very easy. I watched a video on youtube just to be sure. It was really easy. This new system is really nice. I like having one key that opens all my doors.To make installation easier, you put the screws in part way and then put the knob on and turn it a little so that it locks in. Then you finish tightening the screw. Makes it a lot easier to install. No trying to find the hole for the screw when you can't see it.If you want several door knobs and dead bolts to be keyed to one key, this is the kind to get. They also install easily.

Removing cheap Kwickset knobs and lock sets to install quality replacements was great in and of itself!The installation on each door took about 10 minutes. Unlike others, Kwickset made this take easier by making the inner handles cover rotatable so you can set the screws out just long enough to insert the external handle and slide the internal knob over, rotate a bit and simply tighten the screws. No more fiffleingnwith where the screws align, it done for you!Installing the latch and strike was as simple as a few screwes. Once aligned and tightened, insertion of the external knob, aligning the internal knob scre hooks and rotating was a snap. After tightening the interior screws, I had a nice, firm, high quality locking handle that allowed me to security rekey all my doors, both knobs and dead bolts, to the same keys. I have extra keys now that I know will work and should I need to rekey, I know it'll take less than 10 seconds per door. No removal of the locks for a trip to the hardware store! I cannot recommend these high enough!

Redid my whole house with this style of knob 5 years ago, have held up great, super happy, none have been damaged or broken, etc.! And they are easy to install.

I needed to find a good knob with a simple lock on it to replace the old one on my bedroom. I didn't need anything fancy just something that I could use to simply lock the door when I wanted privacy and that would look nice and fit into the existing hole already in the door from the previous knob. Well this fit the bill nicely.The brass is clean looking and has a nice grip on it. Good quality for the price paid. It fit perfectly into the existing hole and I didn't even have to change the inner parts already in the door as it fit perfectly with the existing. No need to worry about different sized parts or plates that would have to be constantly tweaked. I just unscrewed the old one and popped this one into place, tightened the screws and the knob worked perfectly. Must have taken about 5 or so minutes for me to complete the process.The knob turns both ways from both sides of the door and the lock works as intended. You can't open the door from either side with the lock in place and you can't lock it from the other side so you can't really make a mistake of locking your door accidentally. It does come with an emergency key that you can use in the hole if you by some chance to have the door locked after you close it from the other end.The only negative for me here is that the screws are located on the other side of the door (side without the lock). Meaning that if someone really wanted to get into the room all they would have to do is unscrew the knob from the other end to remove it. Not sure why they would put the screws on the other side of the knob. Most knobs I have seen have the screws on the same side of the lock for that purpose. That would be the only negative here. It could also be my fault not realizing that you have to also choose a knob that has the screws on the same side of the lock but why they would offer it the other way, is beyond me. Ruins the point of a knob with a lock if someone can just unscrew it if they really wanted to get in badly enough.But definitely a good knob and I'm happy with it. It fit perfectly and works just as well. Just realize the screws are on the other side of the door before your purchase this as that could be a problem for those who want total security with this. If you aren't really worried about someone unscrewing the knob from the other side of the door (I'm not so I'll keep it) then you have nothing to worry about. It's perfect for a simple knob with simple turn lock on it for a bathroom or bedroom door.

First of all, these knobs are very substantial. Very good feel, and very secure. I have replaced all of the entry knobs and deadbolts around my house with these instead of rekeying my old ones to get the house ready for sale. I've used 2 of these, 4 more with deadbolts, and a Kwikset entry handle/dead bolt combo. All have the smart key option which lets me rekey all knobs and locks to one key.The only issues I had were one of the knobs came in with a defective/sticky latch. Amazon promptly replaced, so all good there.There are 2 things I don't like about these knobs: 1 is the way the knobs connect from one side to the other. Kwikset employs a method where you put one side in the door, both passthrough screws installed, then you put the other knob in and have to kind of hook an underplate to the screws. Then you tighten both screws down, and snap on the cover. Hard to explain, but very awkward and convoluted. It's like they tried to make it easy, and succeeded in making it more difficult.The 2nd thing I don't like is that they don't sell left/right hinge options, which forces you to rework the lock cylinder if you want it oriented correctly(keyhole facing up instead of down). This also requires a special tool to flip the cylinder, as well as a YouTube search on how to flip the cylinder. Those instructions were not provided by Kwikset, nor were they adequately provided on the support area of their website.Overall though, for the price, looks, and functionality of these doorknobs, I am more than satisfied.

This is a very nice attractive door knob that feels solid, and has very attractive hardware as well. In addition, installation is made much easier by a feature that allows you to install the screws with only one side in place, then put the other side on, and twist it to engage the screw heads and tighten. If you don’t understand, trust me. It’s a lot easier than standard installation. I would buy this again.
