Hygeia Personal Accessory Set (PAS) - Includes Flanges, Tubing, Valves for Hygeia Breast Pump

I know the instructions say not to use brushes, but I can't wrap my mind around it being clean enough with just hot water and soap. Anywho, I accidentally broke the inside of my flange using a nipple brush (the part where the milk drops down.) this set was a lifesaver because I had to replace the flange and the tubing. Speedy shipping, and unlike other reviews this came in sealed original packaging.

This set works great as an "extra" for me to leave, along with my Hygeia Q pump, at work. I received all parts as shown. My only complaint is that nipples aren't included in the set; I could've used the two extra nipples. Also, as with all of my Hygeia bottles, I find the measurements to be slightly off, and the printed markings on the bottle begin to fade/rub off quite easily with a few washings. Still, the set does the trick.

The flange and horn are fused- I've tried to power through with this small size, but I can't handle it. It's decreased my pumping output by 50%! There is no way to use a different horn that would help.

Works as expected. Very nice design, love the flexibility of the tubing and the adapter rings for different size bottles.CON: I've been using the kit to exclusively pump for TWO DAYS (YEP 48HRS) and have only hand washed the collection containers and already the markings for measurements are almost gone!!!To a mom of a newborn trying to establish her supply and keep track of pumped amounts THIS IS NOT OKAY!

I had two issues with this kit. The first time I purchased this item it was missing the pump filter. Amazon said they could not send the missing part, and advised me to return the whole thing and then purchase it again, so that is what I did. The second time I purchased, it I had the same issue. Instead of returning the whole second kit, I asked if they would refund the money if I purchased the missing part on my own, and they did. I appreciate their willingness to do that.The second issue I've had with this kit is that when I put it to use, for some reason, milk ends up in the hoses about 60% of the time. I had used my original kit for months with no issue, and bought this replacement to keep at work. I'm not using it any differently than the original, and the parts all look the same, but I constantly have this problem. I can't really figure out why, and it still gets the job done, but it is an annoyance to have to be constantly cleaning the hoses and then running the pump extra to help them dry out.

Came here to read other reviews to see if anyone had trouble with their replacement tubes, only to find out that like many others my set was missing the Hydrostatic filter. I purchased this right before a move, and thought I had read the description wrong that it was included. After 3 days of use, the replacement tubing stopped working/providing suction with the pump, stranding me pump-less at work. All around, pretty disappointed in this purchase. I did learn a good lesson: always have my manual pump in my bag for back up.

This is a great set. One of the great things about hygeia pumps is that they can be reused with just a new accessory set. My only complaint is that there is no option to choose the flange size. I need a large flange and had to buy that separately. The medium flanges that came with this went straight into the recycling so I wish they allowed you to choose.
