Good coverage
I wanted to smarten up a rather old leather cross body bag and bought some dye which was disaster and put the bag to one side until i found this product which is really great. i also bought some kids cheap paint brushes to do the fiddly bits and it worked a treat. Bag now ready so i can throw away another bag (too many pockets) and put my 'new' to use...great pocket for my kindle

Not for changing to a different colour
I used the whole bottle on suede shoes. I put on 9 coats. I was going from red to black so it was a challenge. I chose this product based on reviews. It did not work. The shoes don't look nice, the many coats made them feel and look hard, they are oxblood colour. This product is not suitable when going from a strong colour to black. The kit was good. Contained sponge, rough cloth and 50ml bottle

Great product
Used to revive my faded trainers which are made from eucalyptus fibres. I used a paintbrush to apply which was quick and easy.

Dye and colour excellent. Take care when opening.
Dye and colour excellent.Bottle would not open at cap point and subsequently came away at the bottom of the cap causing dye to spill out.

Great Product
I've never coloured shoes before but read the reviews and went for it. I followed the instructions but instead of using the sponge that came with it I opted for a small paint brush. It works well and only required one coat ... I would use again

Works well
Wanted to make these light pink glittery suede baby shoes more appropriate for a boy and also for them to look less used as they were stained.I chose a navy blue shoe dye and I am impressed with how good it looks. It’s a messy job and bottle doesn’t pour well. The sponge works okay, but needed to use a small paint brush to get close to the edges. Mind you they are very small shoes. At the moment the soft shoe has gone quite hard but I expect/hope they will soften when in use. And I’m yet to find out if the colour is really waterproof and durable.

The messiest product I have used since I was a child.
As someone else reported, the top of the bottle split when I tried to take off the cap. Bottle green dye went everywhere.Be prepared : cover the table with plastic and newspaper, wear an apron and marigold gloves, have kitchen roll to hand.No idea yet if the dye stays on when my suede boots get wet, or if I’ll end up with green feet.
