I thought these were a good deal until I unfortunately discovered they are not solid sterling as described. They're fake. I spent quite a bit of time looking thru different sellers to find the best deal. I wasted my time and money on these. Move on and don't waste a single second on these. There's nothing worse than being misled and ripped off.The really sad thing is that this these are a low dollar item. A seller destroyed their reputation with me, and anyone else who reads this, for almost nothing. They sold their reputation for less than $3. Just a sorry thing.

These earring backs made my ears break out in a rash. Not going to bother returning them, but want to warn everyone else not to buy them. The metal also scratches pretty easily.

I waited 3 weeks to receive these backs and was shocked to see that they are NOT sterling silver, only a cheap plated metal. When told the seller claimed that the wrong item was shipped and immediately refunded the payment. Based on the fact that at least 2-3 other Amazon.com purchasers said the same thing I have a hunch this company is selling this item as sterling silver hoping most people won't know the difference. If I had known these were fake SS coming on a slow boat from China I would have never purchased them. Time to look somewhere else.

i lost the backings to my ear rings a while ago and i decided maybe i should just buy a whole bunch of them online so just in case i lose some of them into the abyss of the "rug." got them in mail like 4 weeks later. delivery is really slow. and then right when i open them to try them on, earring doesnt fit into the hole of the backing. maybe its my fault that i didnt research any more on sizes but this listing didnt list any sizes so i thought maybe they would fit. so yea its just a bag of earring backings just lying on my desk collecting dust now.

I bought these because the backs of my daily-wear earrings kept disappearing and I couldn't find ones small enough to fit them! I ordered these and crossed my fingers, and they worked perfectly. I love that it comes with so many and that they are so expensive because now I don't feel so bad tossing them in the trash if they get a little rusty. These do get a touch rusty, but not nearly as bad as the ones that I had before. I will definitely repurchase these in the future.

Product described as "STERLING SILVER". They are NOT sterling silver. Not even stainless steel. They stick to a magnet! Seller needs to change FALSE DESCRIPTION. At best, they are a silver-colored metal of unknown content.They are cheap earring backs of okay quality. Shipping, delivery, etc., were as described/predicted.

these worked out pretty good for me and i like having these handy since i am always losing them. took a long time to get here though, i didnt realize i was ordering from china. probably will get them from a more local source next time if i need to but still the product is fine.

Kind of small backings, but they do the job. I have so many earrings that either never came with backings or the backings were lost at some point, so keeping a bag of extra backings around in my jewelry box, is the best thing I could have done.
