A must have!
This is a fundamental book that everyone should have, not just for people with cancer but for anyone to prevent recurrence or general overall health. The book has invaluable information and wonderfully delicious recipes. This really is life saving information that explains why certain foods are beneficial and why others are harmful as well as debunking myths about a low-fat high carb vegan diet. I give this book two thumbs way up!

Excellent resource
I have read other books by Dr. Barnard and heard him speak live. He is a great representative for health through a plant-based, low-fat diet. Though I have followed that way of eating for many years, I am now fighting cancer. The research in this book is excellent and makes me feel empowered to fight. The recipes, as in all of Barnard's books, look fantastic.

Very informative, and an easy read.

Very disappointed with this book. Cancer feeds on glucose yet this book suggests eating Carbs.
