Straw Beach Mats

The mats are great camp for an unsightly piece of Climate Control equipment in my backyard!!!

I needed this beachmat for an art project. The weaving is nice, and it took to wood stain very well. It looks fantastic on my project! I was very pleased to receive it as quickly as I did. The measurements were a bit off in the description though. Not as wide as advertised, and a bit longer actually. Not so much a problem, but I was expecting the exact measurements for my project. I had to improvise a bit because of this.

I bought these mats for Christmas Gifts. I didnt use them until I went on vacation with my GF a few months later, for whom I bought a mat. After she unraveled the mat there was a tear along the entire horizontal seam. When I got back I had the other mats checked and 3 out of the 4 mats I purchased all came with some substantial tear or separation of the seams. Thats not all. the mats were so light even a normal 10-15mph breeze brought the mat off the sand and into the air. Granted you have to place objects on top of a towel if you want it to stay put I would have thought the mats would have held up a bit better, but the mats were probably the same weight as a towel so that could be expected. What was worse is amazons customer service. I explained to them that the mats were bought during christmas time for gifts. Where I live you are not going to the beach until June and I explained that I did not inspect the items since I left them in the original packaging to be wrapped up as gifts. To no avail the customer service rep did not want to give me a full refund since I was past the return date. despite the fact I didnt even know they were torn until after the date. Bottom line do not buy. Search online for a better made straw mat. One that is a little heavier would be nicer as it will not be lifted by the breeze as easily.

I used these to cover a popcorn ceiling in an indoor tiki lounge. Excellent for the purpose because it was so lightweight We removed the edging and taped the edges on the back with masking tape to keep it from fraying.

cheap quality, just as expected.price is a bit high since you can get cheaper ones in chinatown or even at a beach.but i didnt have the time to make the trip so i ordered knowing all the above cons.worked as expected, just know that you can buy cheaper and possibly higher quality ones if you are willing to drive around.

The grass mats are good quality and they arrived in just a couple of days. I've place 2 of them on a folding screen in a deck corner and they're great for privacy. I'll use the others for beach outings. Enclosed was a nice note from the vendor which demonstrates his attention to customer service.

I bought this to tape down to the floor to make a little Japanese tatami floor in my kindergarten classroom. It was a great price, very big and looked exactly like a real tatami floor. (well pretty close!) It made an impressive Japanese home for my unit on Japan.
