Good book for anyone interested in snippets of cultural anthropological work. The book is accessible both in terms of authors' writing styles as well as in purchase price.

Required text but interesting stories to grasp. The collection of stories are insightful without being dry and thus one wants to read the text.

This book was like new! It came on time so I can do my homework, that's the most important part! I'm highly pleased with this purchase. By the way, keep the prices low, us students are broke all of the time! Thankyou Amazon!

Although it was mandatory for having this book for my cultural anthropology class. After reading through it I found that this book was rather interesting. Much more entertaining than other anthropology books I've read.

Interesting collection of readings.

Excellent book. This book has many short articles written by Anthropologists . I have only read the first 2 so far, and they are great material for the beginning Anthropology student

Very easy to understand and read. Unfortunately this book was required for my class but was not needed when it came to exams. Luckily it was eligible for Amazon buyback!

Arrived Timely in mail and the readings are actually understandable, not like most textbooks that are too wordy
