Excellent Egg-Based Italian Pasta
Egg pasta, even when cooked from dry form, has a silkier texture than water-only pasta, and that makes it best for sauces that don't overwhelm the pasta. I use this tagiolini in a white truffle pasta recipe for a rich main course. If you are going to make cacio e pepe or similar dish -- or just want to toss it with olive oil or butter -- then this is your pasta. Of course, it also tastes great with tomato and heavy sauces, but the egg-based noodles don't shine in those kinds of recipes.Despite some reviews, this pasta is NOT gluten-free. No better than the grocery store.
These were really good but probably no better than the pasta I usually buy at the grocery store. Fancy label. Nice for a gift basket. Otherwise save your money.

BEST PASTA EVER
Light on the stomach, never heavy, not carb loaded and can confirm when I need to break keto I use this and never gain a pound. I wish it was in more sizes so to speak. Like can you make this a rigatoni? Or fettuccine?

Update:I am updating my review due to the excellent customer service provided. Il Mercato Di Bellina reached out to me and has provided a refund for the product. While I still have not been able to cook the pasta, I will order from them again, hoping to receive an intact product that I can use.Original Review:Bummed out because the package came open, and when I pulled it out of the box, the pasta started spilling out. I guess I’ll be throwing this away.

Allergy risk!
Processed in a facility that processes seafood. I have a mild allergy, but I had a bad reaction. That said, it didn’t taste fresh or good.

Best pasta I've ever had and I used to live in Italy
Wow. I'm blown away. Used it for a shrimp scampi dish. Also a Carbonara.I purchased the two pack of 8.8 oz. For the way we eat, each of the 8.8 oz would be enough for three people. So for the two pack, you would get 6 servings.We used an entire package the first time (for two), and my husband had left over pasta for lunch.
