Heil Sound DT-1 Flush Mount for PL-2T Overhead Broadcast Boom

The PL2T boom ships with a clamp-shaped object; it would be a mistake, however, to equate being clamp-shaped with being suitable for use as a clamp. My advice to you is simply to place the CSO into the trash immediately and instead deploy this to secure your PL2T; you'll be glad you did. The only difficult part is taking that deep breath and starting to drill, since there's no backing away at that point.

Solid! Pretty long if you don't have a deep desk but I put this in an Output Platform work desk and spent, maybe, 2 minutes. Easy, solid, attractive!

I have had this installed in my desk now for over two years. I use it just about everyday and so far the quality of this product has held up very well. No squeaks or binding up has ever occurred as well as the fact that I have never had to use any oil on it as a result of this. Great holder for the Heil Sound PL-2T Overhead Broadcast Boom.

Great mount that works as good as it looks. It installed quickly and the boom glides with no sound at all.
