The paper is so thin that it may not be possible to manufacture paper thinner than this.The ink is so light that it is tedious to read. Most books one tenth smaller would use a greater volume of ink.The font is too small and makes for a strained reading experience.Cost saving seems to be the most important thing in bringing out this book. I regret that I did not buy a better, perhaps more expensive, version.

El libro tiene mucha información interesante y te permite conocer los secretos escondidos en el mundo de Alicia en el país de las Maravillas, así como en los de su autor.

Un excellent livre racontant les péripéties d'une petite fille au pays des merveilles, puis de l'autre côté du miroir. Oeuvre qui a inspiré de nombreux écrivains et de nombreux artistes du monde de l'imaginaire : c'est un classique incontournable et indémodable.Ce n'est pas très difficile à lire, à part certains passages dans lesquels Carroll invente des mots (par exemple : le poème absurde dont je ne me rappelle plus le titre). Cependant, cela aide à l'immersion dans cet univers absurde.Les annotations ne sont pas forcément utiles pour comprendre le sens général de l'oeuvre, mais comme je l'ai étudiée à l'université, elles m'ont aidée, notamment à comprendre la pensée de l'auteur, ses inspirations, ses influences.La couverture pique les yeux mais je ne connais pas d'autre éditeur de "The annotated Alice".Je l'avais commandé à l'approche des fêtes et le vendeur m'avait mis dans le livre une petite carte "Bonne lecture et bonnes fêtes" ^^
