It does a great job. It makes the heat of the gas insert useful. It will not replace your heating system, but again it's much better than the grant running up the vent pipe. It is pretty quiet, about like hearing one of those Quartz heaters in a room. Pretty easy to install. It did not come with instructions, but the manual for my insert had them in there, so if you don't have your manual, look it up online.

I was hoping this fan would work because it would help heat my livingroom. Bought this for a Desa furnace because of the reviews. Install went great but the motor side is heavier so the opposite side came up even with the velcro. After 3 weeks it started squealing loud from the right side and fan was wobbling when running. I thought this thing had roller bearings but turns out it's cheap brass bushings which are worn out already. Returning!

Everything was there and everything worked. Instructions were useless but if you need instructions to install this you should be hiring someone anyway. It's a bit noisy at high speeds but, aren't they all. Overall, it works fine and it was inexpensive.

We received this very quickly, but once we received it we found out it was reverse of what we needed. We were able to switch it around so it blows the way we need it to. It blows more air than the previous blower we had, but the main drawback is that it is louder. The magnetic temp switch is the best part! We can put it anywhere we need it.

Blower wasn't hard to install, but I had to work in a tight place. I put all the wirining together and attached to the blower before installing. Due to limites space and my gas line I was only able to velcro the backside and not the bottom. You do heat a humming, but it gets quiter at highest spreed. I can hold a paper towel and tell that it is blowing through the louvers, but I don't feel it radiating that for away from the fireplace. For the price, I am not concerned. I wished it pushed more air.

Works great, relatively easy to install, and well priced versus other vendors (bbq factory). It was to a fireplace that is no longer manufactured, so the part was somewhat hard to find. Old fireplace manual just had the part as BKT. It was listed as an upgrade accessory in the manual, as my unit didn't have this originally. Kicks out the heat into the room much better now.

Great blower. I don't know why we went without one for years, this was very easy to install and works great. It does have more noise on high but moving that much air makes it feel like its blowing cool air so I keep it about half and it works great.

Didn't come with instructions, so after emailing and being told to go look at the diagram on the website and following the instructions, I started a fire. That was five days ago, and this blower has not turned on yet. Guess I'll spend another $60 for someone to come fix it.
